Rivers Casino Schenectady To Hold Cocktail Server Hiring Fairs

First Hiring Fair This Thursday, June 11; Competitive Pay, Tips and Benefits Available

Schenectady, NY (June 9, 2026) – Job seekers looking for a guest-facing role in a fast-paced entertainment environment are invited to attend a Cocktail Server Hiring Fair this Thursday, June 11, at the Rivers Casino Schenectady Training and Development Center. The first of three hiring fairs scheduled this month, the event offers candidates an opportunity to meet hiring managers and learn about employment opportunities with Rivers Casino.

All hiring fairs will be held at the Rivers Casino Training and Development Center located at 1482 Erie Blvd., Schenectady, N.Y.

• Thursday, June 11, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Thursday, June 25, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

• Friday, June 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Interested applicants are encouraged to attend and meet directly with hiring managers. A resume is preferred but not required.

Rivers Cocktail Servers earn a starting wage of $13.77 per hour plus tips, increasing to $15.30 per hour plus tips after one year. The position is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to casino guests in a professional, friendly and efficient manner while helping create an outstanding guest experience.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to casino guests

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service

• Verify guest age and promote responsible alcohol service

• Maintain clean, organized work areas

• Assist guests throughout the casino floor and address questions or concerns

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous serving experience preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

• Able to obtain and maintain required licensing
