Cage Wars Returns

Schenectady, NY (December 13, 2023) – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is thrilled to announce the return of Cage Wars in 2024. Cage Wars 64, a high-energy evening of Mixed Martial Arts action, will take place at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, February 9.

Tickets to Cage Wars 64 are on sale now at CageWarsMMA.com and start at $65 plus fees. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the fights begin at 7 p.m.

Cage Wars 64 will feature local and regional amateur MMA fighters squaring off in the octagon to determine the Cage Wars 64 champion. Fight fans can expect another incredible night of intense and exciting matchups.

New Year’s Eve Party with The Refrigerators - Guests are invited to ring in 2024 at Rivers Casino’s New Year’s Eve Party with The Refrigerators - the Capital Region’s original horn-fueled party band. The perfect way to close out 2023, this unforgettable party will be held at the Rivers Event Center on Sunday, December 31, 2023. Admission includes live music, dancing, party favors, cash bar, unlimited use of our New Year’s Eve photo booth by Silly Snaps, and a champagne toast at midnight. New Year’s Eve Weekend Entertainment at Van Slyck’s – Guests can enjoy FREE live entertainment all New Year’s Eve weekend long at Van Slyck’s. Friday, December 29 That 80’s Band will rock the stage with DJ Nick Papagiorgio keeping the party going between sets; Saturday, NineDeeezNite will entertain guests with DJ Jay Pierre; and on New Year’s Eve In The Dust and DJ Rvmba will jump start the new year in style. Bands are on from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. with DJ’s from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m.
