Springtime is Win-Big-Time at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady

Schenectady, NY (March 31, 2021) – Guests in April can win big, celebrate Easter and enjoy delicious food & drink specials, exciting giveaways, promotions, and special room rates at The Landing Hotel.

Until April 5, the casino’s daily hours of operation are from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Starting April 5, the casino’s operating hours will be extended. We will announce our new operating hours as soon as they are confirmed.   

Downtime is being used for intensive property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day. Guests are required to wear face coverings (masks), follow social distancing guidelines, and have their temperature taken before entry.

Gaming Floor

The Rivers “Sure Bet Sanitized” Team continues to work around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized. In addition to slots throughout the gaming floor, guests are able to play on all of the casino’s table games including craps and roulette. Plexiglass barriers separating slot machines, players, and dealers have been installed for safety, and guests will be required to sanitize their hands before and after play. The casino’s poker room has been converted into a gaming lounge.

Last month Rivers Casino had its largest jackpot winner since reopening in September – $100,000!  This could be your lucky month!

Young at Heart Mondays – Every Monday in 2021, Rush Rewards members ages 55 and older can participate in a True Time Slot Tournament between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. where the Top 10 high scorers will win a share of $1,375 in cash. Guests can also print a voucher at a promotional kiosk for a free regular coffee or fountain drink at Flipt or Villa Italia between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and book a Sunday night stay at The Landing Hotel for just $55, based on availability and exclusions.

Rush Rewards New Member Promotion – Throughout 2021, any guest who signs up for Rush Rewards and earns 5 points on the same day as their sign-up will unlock a mini-game on a slot machine for a chance to win up to 10,000 bonus points. Valid for new Rush Rewards members only.  

There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits members will receive. These include free play, food offers, entries into promotional drawings, discounted room rates, personalized casino host services and more. 

Rivers Sportsbook

The popular Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on the NCAA College Basketball Tournament and all other major sporting events. Self-betting kiosks are open during the casino’s regular hours from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily, and manned betting windows are available daily from 7 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. New extended hours will be announced soon.

March Basketball Tournament Shirt Giveaway – Rush Rewards guests who make one (1) sportsbook wager between $100 and $499 on the NCAA College Basketball Tournament at the Rivers Sportsbook can bring their betslip to the Rush Rewards Center to receive a Rivers Sportsbook T-shirt. Rush Rewards guests who make a wager of over $500 may bring their betslip to the Rush Rewards Center to receive a Rivers Sportsbook polo shirt. Guests must redeem eligible betslips at the Rush Rewards Center between March 18 and April 6 during Rush Rewards Center hours of operation. T-shirt/polo shirt sizes and quantities are limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. 

Food and Beverage

Mian, Rivers Casino’s fast casual Asian dining, will reopen Friday, April 2. Mian will be open Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., and closed on Wednesday and Thursday. To celebrate the reopening of Mian, guests will be able to enjoy a FREE egg roll with the purchase of any entrée. Offer available throughout the month of April, during regular hours of operation, while supplies last.

Dukes Chophouse is open with a limited menu and reduced hours of operation. Dinner available Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Dukes Bar is open for beverage and bar menu service Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open with an enhanced menu, including select favorites from Dukes Chophouse and pizza from Johnny’s To-Go. Breakfast served daily from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and regular menu from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Villa Italia is open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Johnny’s To-Go, and Van Slyck’s are not open at this time.

Easter Dinner at Dukes Chophouse – Guests can celebrate Easter Sunday at Dukes Chophouse with a pan-roasted New Zealand rack of lamb with green peppercorn thyme, mashed potatoes, and asparagus finished with a red currant reduction for $36. April Special at Dukes Chophouse – Throughout the month guests can enjoy a grilled Duroc pork chop with sweet potatoes, sautéed spinach, and maple balsamic glazed apples for $35+tax and gratuity. Offer available during Dukes regular dinner hours while supplies last.

Dukes Burger & Beer Special – Guests can enjoy a Dukes Burger with a flight of beer for just $24 +tax. Flight includes choice of four 4-ounce beers on tap. Available at Dukes Bar during regular hours of operation.

Dukes Birthday Cake – Throughout 2021 guests that dine at Dukes Chophouse on their birthday will receive a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with the purchase of a dinner entrée. Guests must show proof of birthdate.

March Mayhem Specials – Until April 5, guests at Dukes Bar or The Landing Bar can enjoy $2 Coors Lights (draft or bottle), and $3 Jack Daniels Fire or Jack Daniels Black cocktails during the NCAA College Basketball Tournament.

Spring into Summer Drink Specials – Until the end of June, guests at Dukes Bar or The Landing Bar can receive $3 off Skrewball Whiskey Cocktails, $2 off Blue Moon Drafts, and $1 off Twisted Tea cans. Offers available during regular bar hours of operation while supplies last.

Due to COVID-19 safety precautions the Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center remains closed and all live entertainment is on hold until further notice. Previously scheduled entertainment and events have been cancelled or postponed.

The Landing Hotel

The Landing Hotel is currently closed Monday through Thursdays. It will reopen for full, 24-7, operations on Friday, April 9.

For guest and Team Member safety, The Landing Hotel implemented Rivers Casino’s “Sure Bet Sanitized” cleaning program, along with other new operating procedures, in order to comply with, or surpass, the state’s COVID-19 protocols.
