Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Team Members to Donate Thanksgiving Turkeys to Local Charities and Community Groups

Schenectady, NY (November 15, 2021) - Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady team members will be preparing Thanksgiving Day turkeys for donation to several local charitable organizations and community groups this Thursday, November 18. The donated turkeys will be used by various organizations for their respective Thanksgiving holiday dinners.

The charitable organizations and community groups set to receive the donated turkeys include Bethesda House, Joseph's House & Shelter, the SEAT Center, Safe Inc. of Schenectady, and the Schenectady Inner City Ministry Food Pantry.

What: Rivers Casino & Resort Thanksgiving turkey donation event

When: Thursday, November 18 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Where: The Rivers Casino delivery/loading dock (Rear parking lot on the left side of the property as you face the Mohawk River)

Last year, Rivers team members donated more than 300 turkeys to various community organizations.

Rivers Casino will also be holding a farmer’s market on Friday, November 19 for its team members with all proceeds to benefit Joseph’s House & Shelter.
