Schenectady, NY (September 29, 2023) – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady will be offering guests PINKtober specials to benefit the American Cancer Society.

 PINKtober offers include Pink Strawberry Cupcakes, Pink Frosted Sprinkle Donuts, and Pink Glazed Dolci Pastries made by Villa Italia with partial proceeds from each sale to be donated to the American Cancer Society. The Landing Hotel will also be donating 10% from each PINKtober retail rate booked during the month of October to the ACS.

 Monday No Limit Hold ‘em Poker Tournaments - Mondays in October (except for October 9), Rivers will be holding a no-limit hold ‘em tournament with a $10,000 guaranteed prize pool and re-entries. Tournaments begin at 6:45 p.m., with registration starting at 4:45 p.m. if playing in a cash game, and 4:45 p.m. otherwise. Tournament fee is $200 for 15,000 in tournament chips, and any player that purchases their entry before 5:45 p.m. will receive an extra 2,500 chips. Players will also earn 500 bonus chips for each hour played up to three hours and another 1,000 bonus chips for the fourth hour, for a maximum of 2,500 extra chips.
