New Hours of Operation at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady

Schenectady, NY (April 1, 2021)  – Following New York Governor Cuomo’s extension of the closing time for casinos, and approval from the New York State Gaming Commission, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s new daily hours of operation will be from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily starting Monday, April 5. The casino has been open from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Downtime is used for intensive property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day. Guests are required to wear face coverings (masks),  follow social distancing guidelines, and have their temperature taken before entry. The Rivers “Sure Bet Sanitized” Team works around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized.

The Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on all major sporting events. Self-betting kiosks are open during the casino’s regular hours of operation. Starting April 5, manned betting window hours will also be extended Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until midnight, Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m, and Sunday from 10 a.m. until midnight. 

Mian, Rivers Casino’s fast casual Asian dining, will reopen tomorrow (Friday), April 2. Mian will be open Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., Sunday through Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m., and closed on Wednesday and Thursday.

Dukes Chophouse is open with dinner available Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Dukes Bar is open for beverage and bar menu service Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open with an enhanced menu, including select favorites from Dukes Chophouse and pizza from Johnny’s To-Go. Breakfast is served daily from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and regular menu from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m. Villa Italia is open daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. Johnny’s To-Go and Van Slyck’s are not open at this time. 

The Landing Hotel is currently open Friday through Sunday. It will reopen for full, 24-7, operations on Friday, April 9.
