East Greenbush Man Wins Nearly 300K

Schenectady, NY (July 6, 2021) – An East Greenbush man celebrated more than Independence Day after hitting a Royal Flush for over $295,000 at Rivers Casino & Resort on the 4th of July.

Paul Harter Jr. drew a Royal Flush and won $295,331.45 after placing a $5 bet on the progressive jackpot while playing Three Card Poker. The win is the biggest jackpot since Rivers Casino reopened in September of 2020.

Three (3) additional guests who also placed wagers on the progressive jackpot at the table, but did not win, were also awarded an “Envy Bonus” payout of $5,000 each.

Harter, Jr. has no immediate plans for his winnings.
