Beat The Heat And Win Big At Rivers Casino & Resort In July

Schenectady, NY (July 1, 2021) – Win big and celebrate the 4th of July with exciting giveaways, promotions, and LIVE music at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady.

This month’s highlights include a chance to win thousands in cash, the reopening of Johnny’s To Go, a free UFC Pay-Per-View at the Rivers Sportsbook, and LIVE music at Van Slyck’s, Dukes Chophouse and The Landing Hotel!  

Live music returns to Van Slyck’s this 4th of July weekend! The lineup includes the Ryan Clark band on Friday night, Wide Awake on Saturday night, and Dashboard Anthem on Sunday night.

The casino’s current daily hours of operation are from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. with downtime being used for property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day.

In accordance with CDC and NYS Department of Health guidelines, masks are optional for fully vaccinated guests. Guests who are not vaccinated, or only partially vaccinated, from COVID-19 must continue to wear a mask.

Gaming Floor

$25,000 Cash Dash - Throughout the month, Rush Rewards members will have a chance to win a share of $5,000 in cash every Friday during the $25,000 Cash Dash! Rush Rewards guests will earn 1 entry for every 25 points on eligible slot and video poker machines, and 2 entries for every 25 points earned on table games, with 2X entries every Tuesday in July. Each Friday at 8 p.m., 5 guests will be selected to split $5,000 cash. If a guest does not claim their prize, it will be split equally among the other winners. Entries must be activated each Friday between 5 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. to be eligible for that day’s drawing and guests must be present to win.   

Young at Heart Mondays – Every Monday in 2021, Rush Rewards members ages 55 and older can participate in a True Time Slot Tournament between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. where the Top 10 high scorers each week will win a share of $5,500 in cash. Guests can also print a voucher at a promotional kiosk for a free regular coffee or fountain drink at Flipt or Villa Italia between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and book a Sunday or Monday night stay at The Landing Hotel for just $55, based on availability and exclusions.

Rush Rewards New Member Promotion – Throughout 2021, any guest who signs up for Rush Rewards and earns 5 points on the same day as their sign-up will unlock a mini-game on a slot machine for a chance to win up to 10,000 bonus points. Valid for new Rush Rewards members only.  

There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits members will receive. These include free play, food offers, entries into promotional drawings, discounted room rates, personalized casino host services and more. 

Rivers Sportsbook

The popular Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on the NBA and NHL playoffs and all major sporting events. Self-betting kiosks are open during the casino’s regular hours from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily. Manned betting windows are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until midnight, Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m, and Sunday from 9 a.m. until midnight. 

Wager to Win: Hockey Edition – Rush Rewards guests who make one (1) pro hockey sportsbook wager for $25 or more at the Rivers Sportsbook using the Rivers Bet Slip Builder will receive an entry for a chance to win a hockey jersey and Sportsbook Prize Pack.  Drawings will be held every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in July. Winners will be posted at the Rush Rewards Center by 5 p.m. each drawing day and winners will have 48 hours to claim their prize. At 12 p.m. on the day after the Championship final game a Grand Prize winner will be selected to receive a hockey jersey, Sportsbook Prize Pack, and a $100 StubHub gift card. Jerseys available on first-come, first-served basis and guests are limited to one drawing entry per eligible wager. 

UFC 264 Pay-Per-View – On Saturday, July 10, guests will be able to enjoy the UFC 264 Pay-Per-View of Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier for free and bet on all the action LIVE in the Rivers Sportsbook.

Food and Beverage 

Johnny’s To Go is now reopened as of July 1! The casino’s pizza, pasta, and specialty sandwich outlets daily hours of operation are from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m.

Dukes Chophouse is open with dinner available Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. Dukes Chophouse also has LIVE music every Friday and Saturday night from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Performers include local jazz musicians, pianists and more. Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open with breakfast served daily from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and regular menu from 10:30 a.m. until 2 a.m.

Mian, Rivers Casino’s fast casual Asian dining, is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Villa Italia is open daily from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m. 

Van Slyck’s bar is now open daily from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m.

4th of July Mega Milkshake – Celebrate 4th of July weekend with a Mega Milkshake at Flipt for $10 +tax. Guests can choose from vanilla, chocolate or strawberry all topped with loads of sweet treats in a take-home mug. Offer available Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4 during Flipt’s lunch and dinner menu hours while supplies last.

Dukes Birthday Cake – Throughout 2021 guests that dine at Dukes Chophouse on their birthday will receive a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with the purchase of a dinner entrée. Guests must show proof of birthdate.

Entertainment 

4th of July Weekend – Guests will be treated to live music and a DJ every night at Van Slyck’s. DJ’s start at 8 p.m. and live music starts at 9 p.m.

Sunset Sips at The Landing Hotel – Relax by the Mohawk River at the new “Sunset Sips” bar and patio with free LIVE entertainment every night this summer.
