Win Big and Celebrate Father’s Day at Rivers Casino & Resort in June

This month’s offerings include specials for Father’s Day, a chance to win up to $5000 cash, and LIVE music at Dukes Chophouse and The Landing Hotel!  

The casino’s current daily hours of operation are from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. with downtime being used for intensive property-wide deep cleaning in addition to the continuous sanitizing taking place throughout the day.

In accordance with CDC and NYS Department of Health guidelines, fully vaccinated guests no longer need to wear a mask at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady. Guests who are not vaccinated, or only partially vaccinated, from COVID-19 must continue to wear a mask.

Gaming Floor

The Rivers “Sure Bet Sanitized” Team continues to work around the clock to keep the casino safe and sanitized. In addition to slots throughout the gaming floor, guests are able to play on all of the casino’s table games including craps and roulette. Plexiglass barriers separating slot machines, players, and dealers have been installed for safety. The casino’s poker room has been converted into a gaming lounge.

Spin It Like It’s Hot - Throughout the month Rush Rewards members will have a chance to win up to $5,000 in cash during the Spin It Like It’s Hot promotion!  Rush Rewards guests will earn 1 entry for every 25 points on eligible slot and video poker machines, and 2 entries for every 25 points earned on table games. On Sunday, June 27 at 5 p.m. 5 guests will be selected to spin the wheel for a chance to win up to $5,000 cash. Rush Rewards members will also be eligible to play a game at a Promotional Kiosk after earning 25 points every Thursday & Friday in June for a chance to win drawing entries, bonus points, slot play, or up to $500 cash.

Young at Heart Mondays – Every Monday in 2021, Rush Rewards members ages 55 and older can participate in a True Time Slot Tournament between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. where the Top 10 high scorers will win a share of $1,375 in cash. Guests can also print a voucher at a promotional kiosk for a free regular coffee or fountain drink at Flipt or Villa Italia between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. and book a Sunday or Monday night stay at The Landing Hotel for just $55, based on availability and exclusions.

Rush Rewards New Member Promotion – Throughout 2021, any guest who signs up for Rush Rewards and earns 5 points on the same day as their sign-up will unlock a mini-game on a slot machine for a chance to win up to 10,000 bonus points. Valid for new Rush Rewards members only.  

There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits members will receive. These include free play, food offers, entries into promotional drawings, discounted room rates, personalized casino host services and more. 

Rivers Sportsbook

The popular Rivers Sportsbook is open for guests to place bets on the NBA and NHL playoffs and all major sporting events. Self-betting kiosks are open during the casino’s regular hours from 6 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily. Manned betting windows are open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until midnight, Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 a.m, and Sunday from 9 a.m. until midnight. 

Wager to Win: Hockey Edition – Rush Rewards guests who make one (1) pro hockey sportsbook wager for $25 or more at the Rivers Sportsbook using the Rivers Bet Slip Builder will receive an entry for a chance to win a hockey jersey and Sportsbook Prize Pack.  Drawings will be held every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in June and July. Winners will be posted at the Rush Rewards Center by 5 p.m. each drawing day and winners will have 48 hours to claim their prize. At 12 p.m. on the day after the Championship final game a Grand Prize winner will be selected to receive a hockey jersey, Sportsbook Prize Pack, and a $100 StubHub gift card. Jerseys available on first-come, first-served basis and guests are limited to one drawing entry per eligible wager. 

Food and Beverage

Dukes Chophouse is open with dinner available Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. Dukes Chophouse also has LIVE music every Friday and Saturday night from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Performers include local jazz musicians, pianists and more. Flipt, the casino’s burger and sandwich restaurant, is open with an enhanced menu, including select favorites from Dukes Chophouse and pizza from Johnny’s To-Go. Breakfast served daily from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and regular menu from 10:30 a.m. until midnight (until 2 a.m. starting June 4).

Mian, Rivers Casino’s fast casual Asian dining, is currently open Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until midnight (until 2 a.m. starting June 4), Sunday through Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m., and closed Wednesday and Thursday. Starting June 4, Mian will be open Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until midnight. 

Villa Italia is currently open daily from 6 a.m. until midnight (until 2 a.m. starting June 4). Johnny’s To-Go, and Van Slyck’s are not open at this time.

June Special at Dukes – Throughout the month of June, guests at Dukes Chophouse can purchase a 22-ounce bone-in Ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed pencil asparagus for $47 +tax and gratuity.

Dukes Father’s Day Special - Celebrate Father’s Day weekend on Friday, June 18 through Sunday, June 20 at Dukes Chophouse where guests will be able to enjoy a 1-pound bone-in Filet Mignon served with a blood orange bearnaise, roasted baby vegetables, and potato au gratin,  accompanied with an adult root beer float for $65 +tax and gratuity. Daddy’s Sweet Heat – Celebrate Father’s Day weekend on Friday, June 18 through Sunday, June 20 at Flipt with a double-stacked burger topped with melted pepper jack cheese, candied bacon, jalapeno onion jam and a garlic aioli served with King Rings and a Bud Light draft for $14.50 +tax.

Dukes Burger & Beer Special – Guests can enjoy a Dukes Burger with a flight of beer for just $24 +tax. Flight includes choice of four 4-ounce beers on tap. Available at Dukes Bar during regular hours of operation.

Dukes Birthday Cake – Throughout 2021 guests that dine at Dukes Chophouse on their birthday will receive a complimentary slice of chocolate cake with the purchase of a dinner entrée. Guests must show proof of birthdate.

Spring into Summer Drink Specials – Until the end of June, guests at Dukes Bar or The Landing Bar can receive $3 off Skrewball Whiskey Cocktails, $2 off Blue Moon Drafts, and $1 off Twisted Tea cans. Offers available during regular bar hours of operation while supplies last.

Bourbon Bacon Mac and Cheese Monday – Every Monday guests will be able to enjoy a creamy macaroni and cheese topped with caramelized bacon, finished with a golden crust and dressed with a bourbon drizzle for $10 +tax at Flipt. Entertainment

Due to COVID-19 precautions the Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center remains closed for all live entertainment until further notice. Previously scheduled entertainment and events have been cancelled or postponed.

The Landing Hotel

The Landing Hotel is open 24-7. The Landing Hotel Bar is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until midnight. Happy Hour is 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. daily.
