FREE Championship Playoff Party & Lunar New Year Vietnamese Concert

Schenectady, NY (January 15, 2024) – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is hosting two special events and, best of all, they’re both FREE! On Sunday, January 28 a pro football Playoff Championship Party sponsored by Molson Coors will be held at Van Slyck’s bar, and on Friday, February 23 guests can celebrate the Lunar New Year during a Vietnamese concert at the Rivers Event Center.

Playoff Championship Party sponsored by Molson Coors - Sunday, January 28 at Van Slyck’s guests are invited to attend Rivers Casino’s Playoff Championship Party sponsored by Molson Coors from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The party is open to the public and the first 200 fans can enjoy a complimentary appetizer buffet, a drink of their choice, and the opportunity to win prizes! Space is limited. Must be 21+.

Lunar New Year Concert - Guests can celebrate the Lunar New Year with a Vietnamese Concert performance at the Rivers Event Center from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Enjoy live performances from Bằng Kiều, MC Ngọc Hân, Minh Tuyêt, Trường Vũ, Như Quỳnh, and Quỳnh Vi. The Lunar New Year Concert will be exclusive to Rush Rewards members first and FREE tickets will be made available to the public on Thursday, February 15, 2023, while supplies last.

There is no cost to join Rush Rewards, and members earn points for their slot play and table game play by inserting their card into the slot machine or presenting it to table games dealers before starting the game. The more points earned, the more reward benefits members will receive.

It’s sure to be an exciting night of dancing, fist-pumping, and fun as DJ Pauly D entertains guests with his one-of-a-kind DJ style and infectious personality. The evening kicks off at 8 p.m. with local favorites DJ Tomb and DJ Ketchup.
