Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Celebrates the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga All Weekend Long

On and off-track promotions, live entertainment and drink specials highlight

Schenectady, NY (June 4, 2025) – As official casino partner of Saratoga Race Course and the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is offering a spectacular weekend of live entertainment, gaming promotions, and drink specials. This year’s festival, held at Saratoga Race Course for the second year in a row, is highlighted by the 157th running of the historic Belmont Stakes on Saturday, June 7.

Rivers Casino will headline day three of the festival this Friday, June 6 as presenting sponsor of the Grade 1, $750,000 New York stakes race - a 1 3/16-mile turf test for ages 4-and-up.

Rivers Casino is also presenting sponsor of The Backyard at the track during the festival. Track goers can visit the activation booth at the Rivers Casino Backyard and spin a wheel to win Rivers branded swag.

Belmont Stakes Weekend Highlights at Rivers Casino:

Belmont Giveaway Party - At Van Slyck’s on Friday June 6 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy drink specials, sampling and swag from Miller Lite, Modelo, and White Claw and a chance to win two tickets to the Belmont Stakes courtesy of DeCrescente Distributing.

Belmont Stakes Weekend Entertainment - Guests can enjoy live music and DJ’s all weekend long during Belmont Stakes weekend. At Van Slyck’s on Friday, June 6 the Rhythm Pilots will be on with DJ Tek from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. and on Saturday, June 7, Jukebox Rebellion will rock the house along with DJ Jungle Punk. Over at The Landing Hotel the Brian Patneaude Trio will entertain guests from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday, and the Shaun McCarthy Trio will be on from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday. 

Belmont Stakes - On Saturday, June 7, guests will be able to watch the 157th running of the Belmont Stakes at the BetRivers Sportsbook and make bets on all the action at the Capital District OTB outlet located at Van Slyck’s.

Belmont Weekend Drink Specials - In addition to race-themed specialty cocktails during Belmont Stakes weekend, guests at Van Slyck’s, Dukes Bar or The Landing Hotel Bar can purchase Miller drafts for $5, Miller cans for $6, Modelo Drafts for $7, and White Claw cans for $7. Offers available Wednesday, June 4 through Sunday, June 8 during regular outlet hours of operation, while supplies last.

Starbucks Belmont Drink Specials - During Belmont Stakes weekend guests at Starbucks can enjoy specialty drinks including exacta, trifecta, and superfecta espressos; the Belmont Jewel with blended lavender lemonade and strawberry puree; or a Triple Crown with three shots on ice and a sweetened cold foam. Prices vary and drinks available Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8 during regular outlet hours of operation, while supplies last.

Belmont Stakes Photo Op - Guests are invited to visit Rivers Casino’s official Belmont Stakes display near The Landing Hotel lobby entrance to capture their own unique and memorable photos.
