Cage Wars Mixed Martial Arts Returns to Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady in January

Schenectady, NY (November 22, 2021) – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is thrilled to announce the return of Cage Wars, a high-energy evening of Mixed Martial Arts action. Following a series of prior sold-out competitions, Cage Wars 50 will take place at the Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Event Center on Friday, January 21, 2022.

Tickets on sale now at CageWars.com and start at $56 plus fees. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the fights begin at 6 p.m.

Cage Wars 50, sponsored by Sticker Mule, will feature both local and regional amateur MMA fighters squaring off in the octagon to determine the Cage Wars 50 champion. Fight fans can expect another night of intense and exciting matchups.

Kickin’ it Country Night (Wednesday, November 24): Country music fans will be dancin’ and partyin’ on Thanksgiving Eve during Kickin’ it Country Night at the Rivers Casino Event Center. The night of fun includes fantastic live music from David J and The Vinny Michaels Band, along with drink samples and swag from Jack Daniels, Sticker Mule and other vendors, cornhole, best-dressed contest, and more! New Year’s Eve Glow Party with Funk Evolution (Friday, December 31, 2021): Guests are invited to ring in 2022 at Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s New Year’s Eve Glow Party with Funk Evolution - the Capital Region’s premier horn-fueled party band. Admission includes live music, dancing, party favors, a cash bar, and a champagne toast at midnight all inside a spectacular neon and glow light-filled Event Center. Tickets are on sale now for the advance purchase price of just $25 at RiversCasino.com/Schenectady. Tickets will increase to $30 on the day of the event. Doors open at 10 p.m. and the party goes on until 1 a.m. Open to the public. Must be 21+.
