Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady Unveils 2023 Harbor Jam Free Summer Concert Weekend Lineup

Concerts to feature the music of Bob Seger and Elton John

Schenectady, NY (May 12, 2023) – Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is thrilled to announce the return of Harbor Jam this summer at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater for 2023. This year’s Harbor Jam concerts will take place Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30.

This summer’s Harbor Jam weekend performance lineup includes headliners Forever Seger - The Silver Bullet Experience – a tribute to Bob Seger, and Philadelphia Freedom - A Tribute to Elton John. Each night’s entertainment kicks off at 6 p.m. with DJ Ketchup, followed by the headliner performance at 7:30 p.m. The Sunday, July 30 concert will also be followed by a special firework show.

With 75-million records sold and induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, Bob Seger's music is the soundtrack of a generation, and nobody recreates the energy and power of his live shows better than Forever Seger. From rock anthems like "Old Time Rock n Roll," "Turn the Page," and "Night Moves" and more unforgettable ballads and chart-topping hits, fans can step back in time and be blown away by the show called the #1 Bob Seger tribute in the world today.

Philadelphia Freedom is the ultimate, and most realistic, Elton John tribute currently touring. Singer and pianist Doug Delescavage IS Elton John as he was in his 20’s, full of joy and unlimited energy, commanding his top-notch band through all the hits of Elton’s career including “Rocket Man,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Crocodile Rock,” and many more. Doug owns the stage with his domineering fashion sense rivaling no one but Mr. Captain Fantastic himself.

The Harbor Jam concerts are sponsored by PYX 106, 98.3 TRY, Martin Electric, BPI Mechanical Service, Discover Schenectady, Gabriel’s Supermarkets, Antonucci Foods and County Waste & Recycling.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase. There are no age restrictions to attend, and concertgoers are welcome to bring chairs and blankets for seating.
