Rivers Casino Will Add “FLIPT” Restaurant This Fall
The stylish Rush Street burger joint is on its way to the ‘Burgh!
PITTSBURGH — July 12, 2018 — Pittsburghers will flip over Rivers Casino’s new restaurant.
“FLIPT,” a contemporary burger-and-shake restaurant, is coming to Rivers Casino. Its mouthwatering, signature burger selection and delectable homemade milkshakes are the hallmarks of its must-have menu. FLIPT is expected to debut at Pittsburgh’s North Shore hot spot this fall.
In addition to its enticing menu, FLIPT is known for its modern, sleek architecture and is unique to Rush Street Gaming casinos. Rush Street is the operator of Rivers Casino and also features FLIPT at its other casinos in Des Plaines, Illinois (Chicago area), and Schenectady, New York.
FLIPT takes a fresh, upscale approach to the everyday burger eatery, while satisfying the most hardcore burger-lovers. Featuring all-American classics such as hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hot dogs and sandwiches—all served on delicious day-baked potato bread.
The burger-mecca menu has high standards with fresh-only ingredients. Among the many options is the “Breakfast Burger”—with cherrywood smoked bacon, an over-easy egg and aged cheddar. It will beat expectations. The creative “Burger Wrap” has all the works but leaves the bun behind. Oh and fresh-cut fries—there must be fries!
Other menu items will include:
- Specialty burgers and sandwiches
- Wraps
- Salads
- Wings
- Chicken fingers
- Onion rings
- Mozzarella sticks
- Nachos
- Homemade milkshakes
“We’re very excited to have FLIPT join the family here in Pittsburgh,” said Andrea Kleinrock-Marmion, vice president of food and beverage at Rivers Casino. “It’s the perfect grab-and-go for gamers, but also worthy of a sit-down meal—your choice!”
FLIPT will replace West End Café, which closed July 11, to begin construction. The FLIPT menu will feature select holdovers from West End Café.
