Rivers Casino Named One Of Pittsburgh’s 2014 “Best Places To Work”

Pittsburgh Business Times Announces Workplace Recognition Award

PITTSBURGH — July 21, 2014 — Just in time for its five-year anniversary, Team Members have voted Rivers Casino one of Pittsburgh’s 2014 “Best Places to Work” in the “large company” category.

Published annually by the Pittsburgh Business Times, the “Best Places to Work” program recognizes the top employers in Western Pennsylvania. The winners are determined by scores given to the companies by their own employees through an anonymous survey. The questionnaires are administered by Quantum Workplace, an independent third-party surveying firm.

Once Rivers Casino was nominated, a representative percentage of its team members, determined by Quantum Workplace, were required to complete the questionnaire, which asked them to rank the casino in several dozen categories relating to team effectiveness, trust with coworkers, alignment with goals, trust in seniors leaders, as well as recognition and employee benefits.

Rivers, along with the other 2014 “Best Places to Work” award recipients, will be honored at an event in Pittsburgh on October 30, 2014 at the Westin Convention Center Hotel.
