PITTSBURGH — May 29, 2015 — Things are heating up outside and at Rivers Casino! Cool off on the North Shore with Rivers’ latest gaming promotions, dining specials and entertainment.

Gaming Promotions

$100K Toys of Summer – On Thursdays in June, Rush Rewards members can celebrate summer by entering drawings to win cash, Free Slot Play, ATVs, Jet Skis, John Deere® mowers and more. Entries can be earned every day starting June 1 at 6 a.m. Activate entries each Thursday from 10 a.m.—7:59 p.m. Drawings occur at noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

$100K Batter Up for Bucks – Rush Rewards members who earn 500 same-day base points from 8 a.m.—9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in June will have a chance to play Rivers’ kiosk game to receive an instant win to have a shot at hitting a grand slam at the payout machine and win the Progressive Jackpot. Kiosk winners will have the opportunity play the payout machine from noon until 10 p.m. Rivers guarantees that one winner will receive $1,000 cash every Wednesday!

Extreme Wild & Crazy Cash Drawing – Guests who earned entries from Dec. 1, 2014—May 31 have the chance to win a share of more than $60,000 cash and Free Slot Play during the Wild & Crazy Cash drawings taking place on June 30, including the top prize of $12,000. Entries can be activated beginning at noon until 2:14 p.m. for the 2:15 p.m. drawing and 5—7:14 p.m. for the 7:15 p.m. drawing. (Must be a Rush Rewards member and have a valid photo ID. Must be present to win.)

Walk-In and Win Summer Slot Tournaments – On Mondays in June, Rush Rewards members who earn 100 same-day base points can enter to play in one of two slot tournaments for a top prize of $1,000 cash. Earn 200 same-day base points to compete in both tournaments. Tournaments take place from 11 a.m.—2 p.m. and 6—9 p.m.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout June, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a Black & Decker screwdriver on June 7; a tailgating collapsible chair on June 14; and an air compressor on June 21. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. at the Gift Giveaway Center. (While supplies last.)

June Birthday Celebrations – Happy Birthday to you! Any guests who visit the Rush Rewards Player Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.

New Member Celebrations – Guests who sign up for a Rush Rewards Player Club Card from now until June 30 will be eligible to swipe at a kiosk to participate in a promotion available only to new members. By earning 100 same-day base points, new members can win various amounts of Free Slot Play, food coupons or a top prize of $5,000 cash.

$10 for $10 – On June 2 and 3, guests who visit Rivers between 12—8 p.m. have the option to donate $10 cash to the Alzheimer’s Association to receive $10 Free Slot Play. The Alzheimer’s Association aims to eliminate the disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Pittsburgh Proud – Throughout the month of June, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to the Alzheimer’s Association. The Pittsburgh Proud donation box is located between the two elevators that lead to the parking garage.

Table Games

Learn to Play – Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play Craps, Pai Gow Poker and Mini-Baccarat. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 match play coupons. (Match play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2015.)

$250,000 Shuffle Master Classic – Play your cards right in June and you could win a $1,000 travel voucher for round-trip airfare to Las Vegas. You’ll have a seat in the Three Card Poker National Championship Event.

Hot Shooters – Hot Shooters is Rivers’ exciting craps promotion. Every day, the top five “hot shooters” win match play and cash prizes.

• First Place: $100 match play and $100 cash
• Second Place: $50 match play and $50 cash 
• Third Place: $25 match play and $25 cash 
• Fourth Place: $10 match play and $10 cash
• Fifth Place: $10 match play and $10 cash

Table Games Baseball Party Pit – On Wednesdays and Thursdays in June from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit also features $5 craps and blackjack.

Poker Room

Race for the Stakes Two – On Saturday, June 6, players in live qualifying cash tables will be eligible to participate beginning at 5 p.m. Each player will be paired with a horse participating in the big race. The player with the horse that finishes first will win $2,500. The second place finisher will receive $1,500 and the third place winner will receive $500. All 16 participants will take home $100. (Must be present to win.)

Break the Bank – On weekdays in June, Rush Rewards members playing into live qualifying cash tables will be eligible to go up to the “Banker Board” and select a number to win a cash prize up to $3,500. Drawings will take place at noon, 3, 6 and 9 p.m.

Cash Vault – On June 13, 20 and 27, Rush Rewards members playing into live qualifying cash tables will be drawn to select an envelope containing a cash prize of up to $1,000. Drawings will take place every other hour.

Three Rivers Poker Challenge – Rush Rewards members playing into live qualifying cash tables will be eligible to play in the Three Rivers Poker Challenge between 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 21 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 for a chance to win first place in the final prize pool and the tournament trophy.

Dining and Entertainment

Wheelhouse 2 for $25 – Enjoy a dinner for two on Thursdays in June at Wheelhouse for just $25. Select an appetizer of buffalo dip, nachos, onion rings, pretzel bites or loaded fries. Then, take your pick of an 8 oz. strip steak, breaded shrimp, chicken Monterey or pork schnitzel. Finish the meal with a dark Godiva Chocolate mousse cake with caramel sauce.

Andrew’s Steak & Seafood 2 for $75 – From 5—9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in June, Andrew’s Steak & Seafood will offer a three-course meal for two for $75. Appetizers include flat bread, crispy calamari or crab cakes. Entrée choices include filet mignon, pan-roasted chicken breast or Skuna Bay salmon. For dessert, enjoy a warm spring berry crisp cheesecake or a Dolly Sin chocolate truffle cake.

Live from the Rivers – Throughout the summer, Rivers’ outdoor amphitheater will host a number of live performances as part of the “Live from the Rivers” free concert series. Concerts take place from 7—11 p.m. Concerts are open to guests of all ages. (Access to parking garage and casino building will remain limited to guests ages 21 and up.)
