Rivers Casino Announces April Entertainment And Promotions

Hop into April with all new happenings at Pittsburgh’s casino

PITTSBURGH — March 29, 2018 — Spring is in bloom with brand new events and promotions at Rivers Casino. This April, test your luck by trying to win a 2018 Lexus SUV, demonstrate your knowledge at trivia night and enjoy many other gaming promotions.

Gaming Promotions

Penguins Shoot for $1 Million — Penguins fans who attend a home game (last two are April 1 and April 6) can redeem their ticket at the Players Club for a chance to qualify for a shot to win $1 million. Guests with a Pens ticket can play a kiosk game for a chance to qualify for the finale drawing on Saturday, April 14. All qualifiers from previous drawings, since October, will have a chance to Shoot for $1 Million. Qualifying Drawings on Thursday, April 12 at 2, 4 and 8 p.m. and Wild Card Drawings on Saturday, April 14 at Noon, 4 and 7 p.m. are the last chance to qualify. Finale Drawings will be held on April 14 at 2, 6 and 8 p.m. If the top prize of $1 million is not won, finalists will split $50,000 Cash.

2018 Lexus SUV Drawing — On Sunday, April 1, 10 winners who earned entries will be called at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. to receive $250 in Free Slot Play. Each winner will receive a physical entry into the finale drawing, where nine guests will win $1,000 in Free Slot Play and one lucky winner will walk away with a 2018 Lexus SUV.

$100,000 Wheel of Steel Drawing — All Rush Rewards Club Members who earn 25 points on a slot machine or table game through 7:59 p.m. on May 5 will be given the chance to win the $100,000 Wheel of Steel Drawing. Every Tuesday in April and Saturday, April 7 and April 21, at 2 and 8 p.m., there will be 10 total winners at each drawing. Winners will spin to win prizes from $250 in Free Slot Play to $5,000 cash. Each winning guest will receive a letter with the finale information taking place in May. 

Rivers Reel Slot League — The Rivers Reel Slot League tournament will continue on Tuesday, April 10 from 4-7 p.m. Players who score in the top 50 will win Free Slot Play, with $1,000 in Free Slot Play awarded to first place.

$10,000 Jackpot Drawing — Guests will earn one entry for every taxable jackpot won on a slot machine from March 28 through April 25. At 6 and 8 p.m. on April 25, 10 jackpot winners will be announced to win their share of $5,000 Free Slot Play at each drawing.

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh  — All month long, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to Carnegie Library, Pittsburgh’s knowledge hub whose mission is to engage the community in literacy and learning by supporting individual achievement and strengthening the power of community.

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh $10 for $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play — On Thursday, April 5, and Saturday, April 7, from noon to 8 p.m., guests can donate $10 cash to Carnegie Library and receive $10 Free Slot Play or $10 Match Play.

New Member Bring a Friend — All current Rush Rewards members who bring a friend to sign up for the Rush Rewards Players Club will receive a free buffet voucher for themselves and their friend. Guests can participate in the promotion once per week, and the new member will have an opportunity to play a kiosk game to win up to $100 Free Slot Play.

Table Games

Hot Shooters — Each day from noon to 11:59 a.m. the following day, Rush Rewards members will have the chance to win three daily prizes of $100 cash and $100 Match Play, $50 cash and $50 Match Play and $25 cash and $25 Match Play. Winners will be determined by the guests with the most rolls in the craps pit.

Learn to Play — Guests can learn to play three card poker, mini baccarat and pai gow poker from 5-6 p.m. every Thursday-Saturday. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 Match Play coupons for each game learned. (Vouchers can only be earned once for each game learned throughout 2018).

Table Games Party Pit — On Thursdays in April, guests will have the chance to win great prizes in hot seat drawings every 30 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 1:30 a.m. The Party Pit features $5 craps and blackjack. Guests can also earn entries for a chance to win a set of Pittsburgh hometown professional sports tickets. The drawing for the tickets will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 9 p.m.

Poker

April Daily High Hands — Rush Rewards members playing at a live, qualifying cash table are eligible to win various amounts of cash prizes ranging from $200 to $1,000.

Trivia Night — Visit Levels Lounge for Trivia Night on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. Guests who sign up will receive a $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play voucher. Prizes range from $50 to $100 in Free Slot Play, Match Play and Rivers Dining Gift Cards for the top three trivia contest winners.

Comedy Hypnotist — Join Rivers Casino as Terry Parrett performs comedy hypnosis on Sunday, April 8, at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and include $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play voucher.

Thunder from Down Under — Join Rivers Casino on Wednesday, April 25 and Thursday, April 26 for the perfect girls’ night out. Shows both nights begin at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $30 and will include $10 Free Slot Play or Match Play voucher.
