Rivers Casino Kicks Off New Events and Promotions

PITTSBURGH – August 31, 2015 – Summer may be over, but you’ll be “falling” for the new gaming promotions, dining specials and live entertainment at Rivers Casino this month.

Gaming Promotions

Wednesday Walk-Up Slot Tournaments – On Wednesdays in September, Rush Rewards members who earn 100 same-day base points can enter to play in one of two slot tournaments for a top prize of $1,000 cash. Earn 200 same-day base points to compete in both tournaments. Tournaments take place from 11 a.m.—2 p.m. and 6—9 p.m.

$100,000 Tailgate in Style Drawings – On Wednesdays in September, every other hour between noon and 8 p.m., five winners will be selected to win various amounts of Free Slot Play and cash at the Gift Giveaway Stage. One guaranteed winner will receive the top prize of a 2015 Chevy Silverado on September 30 at 9 p.m. Rush Reward members can earn entries from 6 a.m. on Sept. 1 until 7:59 p.m. on Sept. 30.

$250K Hometown First Down – Each Tuesday throughout the football season, Rush Rewards members can participate in a FREE football kiosk game from 6 a.m.—11:59 p.m. to have a chance at winning a top prize of $7,000 cash. Based on how many first downs our home team has during each game, guests can also swipe at any kiosk to earn seven times the number of entries for the finale drawing. The finale drawing will take place at the end of football season, January 23, when over $250,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded, including the top prize of $100,000 cash. Each new Rush Reward member will automatically receive 100 entries into the finale drawing.

Gift Giveaways – Throughout September, invited guests and players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to pick up a gift. Receive a tailgate cooler stand on Sept. 6; a Blazet blanket on Sept. 13; a tailgate table on Sept. 17; and a black and gold jacket on Sept. 20. Guests must visit kiosks between 6 a.m.—8 p.m. to reserve their gifts. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last).

Pick a Gift Giveaway – On Thursday, Sept. 3, invited guests and Rush Reward players who earn 1,250 same-day base points are eligible to receive a free gift. Gifts are available for pick-up from 10 a.m.—8 p.m. (While supplies last).

September Birthday Celebrations – Happy Birthday to you! Any guests who visit the Rush Rewards Player Club on his or her birthday will receive a free coupon to visit Grand View Buffet.

$10 for $10 – On Sept. 1 and 2, guests who visit Rivers between noon and 8 p.m. have the option to donate $10 cash to Goodwill of Southwestern PA to receive $10 Free Slot Play.

Pittsburgh Proud – Throughout the month of September, guests can donate their extra slot vouchers and table chips to Goodwill of Southwestern PA. The Pittsburgh Proud donation box is located between the two elevators that lead to the parking garage.

Table Games

Learn to Play – Join in from 1—2 p.m. every day to learn a new game. Guests can learn to play Craps and Blackjack. Rush Rewards members will receive two $5 match play coupons. (Match play coupons can be picked up at the Rush Rewards Players Club. Vouchers can only be redeemed once for each game learned throughout 2015.)

Hot Shooters – Hot Shooters is Rivers’ exciting craps promotion. Every day, the top five “hot shooters” will win match play and cash prizes. On Saturday, Sept. 12, players can enter the Hot Shooters tournament for a share of the $5,000 prize pool.

• First Place: $100 match play and $100 cash
• Second Place: $50 match play and $50 cash 
• Third Place: $25 match play and $25 cash 
• Fourth Place: $10 match play and $10 cash
• Fifth Place: $10 match play and $10 cash

Football Party Pit – On Thursdays in September from 6 p.m.—2 a.m., hot seat drawings will be held every 30 minutes to receive great prizes. The Party Pit also features $5 craps and blackjack. Starting Sept. 3, guests can earn entries into a special drawing for Steelers tickets on Sept. 24.

Poker Room

$11K Splash of Cash – On Tuesdays and Thursdays in September, $100 cash will be added to live, qualifying tables every hour from noon until midnight.

$25K Cash in King – Each hour on Saturdays in September, Rush Rewards members playing at live qualifying cash tables will be eligible to pick a numbered tab off the big board for a chance to win up to $1,000 cash.

$28K High Hand – On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in September, the player at the live, qualifying tables with the highest hand each hour between noon—11 p.m. will receive $200 cash.

$20K Game Day Quarter Cash Promotion – On Sept. 10, 20 and 27, guests playing at live, qualifying cash games will be eligible to win $250 cash during each quarter of the Steelers’ game.

Dining and Entertainment

The Lettermen Concert – Pittsburgh’s favorite oldies group will be performing at Rivers Casino on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $25 at riverscasino.com.
