Pittsburgh Penguin Greats Come To Rivers For Charity Poker Tournament

Rivers Casino to Host Tournament Benefitting Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Charity 

PITTSBURGH  –  March 15, 2016 – Local poker players will face off against Penguins legends this Friday, March 18, at Rivers Casino to benefit the Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Charity. Play begins at 7 p.m.

The entry fee is $200, with $50 going to the Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Charity. Players can purchase additional chips for $25, which will also go directly to the charity. Participating players will have the chance to win signed jerseys, hockey sticks, hats, t-shirts, Penguins tickets and more.

The Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni Charity is committed to preserving the city’s hockey legacy and aiding the region through charity fundraising. Players expected to attend include Bryan Trottier, Pierre Larouche, Colby Armstrong, Ken Wregget and more.

“Connecting competition with a good cause will make for a fun tournament,” said Jim Tinney, poker room manager at Rivers Casino. “We’re looking forward to welcoming back some Penguins greats to Rivers.”
