Grammy-winning music star warms up The Event Center in December

PITTSBURGH — Sept. 20, 2019 — International multi-platinum singer and songwriter LeAnn Rimes, known for her pop country classics like “Blue,” “How Do I Live” and “Something’s Gotta Give,” brings her “You and Me Christmas Tour” to The Event Center at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh on Monday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and start at $35.

With over two decades of experience in the music industry, Rimes has captivated audiences with her powerful country vocals. Since the start of her career, Rimes has sold more than 44 million albums globally and won two Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, two World Music Awards, three Academy of Country Music Awards, one Country Music Association Award and one Dove Award. At just 14 years old, Rimes won "Best New Artist,” making her the youngest recipient to take home a Grammy Award.

“We’re excited to have a timeless artist like LeAnn Rimes perform at Rivers,” said Vice President of Marketing, Shannon Redmond. “Her rich, one-of-a-kind vocals will make for an awesome holiday show in The Event Center.”

The Texas native became a musical sensation with her first album, “Blue.” Since then, Rimes has helped pave the way for crossover country artists today with hit songs like “Light the Fire Within,” “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” and “We Can.” Most recently, Rimes released her EP “Re-Imagined” in 2018.

In addition to her successful career as a musician, Rimes is also an accomplished actor and author of four books. To close out 2018, Rimes lit up the television screens throughout the holiday season as she starred in an original Hallmark Christmas movie, “It’s Christmas, Eve.” The songstress also released a soundtrack that featured original holiday songs created specifically for the movie.

Tickets for LeAnn Rimes’ show and for all Rivers Casino Pittsburgh performances can be purchased at the Rivers Casino Gift Shop or at RiversCasino.com

In addition to live performances and concerts, The Event Center at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh can be reserved for a variety of occasions, including corporate receptions, seminars, trade shows, weddings and more. The space features theatre-style seating for over 2,000 people or up to 800 for sit-down functions and includes an integrated pre-function area.
