George Thorogood & The Destroyers To Bring Baddest Show on Earth Tour to Rivers Casino Pittsburgh
‘Bad To The Bone’ rockers set for Feb. 22 performance in The Event Center
Huge news for Steel City rock ’n’ rollers … George Thorogood & The Destroyers are bringing their legendary rockstar swagger all the way to Rivers Casino for The Baddest Show on Earth Tour.
Tickets for the band’s 7 p.m. performance in The Event Center on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, are on sale now, beginning at $29.
In a five-decade career fueled by 8,000-plus live shows, more than 15 million albums sold and a global reputation as “the band that plays hot enough to melt the polar icecaps” (Rolling Stone), where can the iconic rock band possibly go from here?
“That’s all pretty good for the first 50 years,” said Thorogood. “But we keep working harder, digging deeper and playing stronger. Now it’s time to go back out there and do some serious rockin’.”
In the setlist, expect these Thorogood classics: “Bad To The Bone,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Move It On Over,” “I Drink Alone” and many more.
According to George Thorogood & The Destroyers, “serious rockin’” will always be what they do best. And for 2025, The Baddest Show on Earth Tour will bring their guitar-slinging, amp-blasting, roof-shaking rock party like never before.
George and longtime Destroyers Jeff Simon (drums), Bill Blough (bass), Jim Suhler (guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) are now taking all the drum-bashing, bass-pounding, sax-wailing, monster guitar energy of the past five decades and pouring it into The Baddest Show on Earth Tour with “the boogie-blues Sinatra” (Classic Rock History) as its relentless ringmaster.
“We’re excited to welcome George Thorogood & The Destroyers, a group with decades of unforgettable rock anthems,” said Shannon Redmond, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. “This will be a sensational night filled with classic crowd-pleasers and high-energy performances.”
“If the circus makes everyone feel like a kid again, this tour will make you feel like a teenager,” said Thorogood. “I consider us to be a musical high-wire act that works without a net, and we’ll be bringing all the danger, thrills and fun that our audiences can handle.”
