70s Music Standout Takes the Outdoor Stage at Pittsburgh’s Casino 

PITTSBURGH — July 11, 2016 — Donnie Iris, 70s music icon, will make a special visit to his hometown to perform at the Rivers Casino amphitheater on Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $15.

Iris skyrocketed in the music business as part of The Jaggerz. He then helped form the band Wild Cherry, who wrote and recorded the hit Play That Funky Music, White Boy. After Wild Cherry’s run, Iris moved on to form Donnie Iris and the Cruisers, who are famous for their single Ah! Leah! and toured with artists such as Journey, Bryan Adams, Foreigner and Bon Jovi.
