THE STYLISTICS TO PERFORM AT RIVERS CASINO PHILADELPHIA

Philly’s legendary soul group to perform one-night-only show on July 29

PHILADELPHIA — April 25, 2023 — The Stylistics, the iconic soul group hailing from Philadelphia, will return to their roots and to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Saturday, July 29, at 8 p.m. After last year’s sold-out show, fans can expect a night of soulful classics from the group that put Philly soul on the map. Tickets for The Event Center performance start at $39 and will go on sale Friday, April 28, at 10 a.m.

With hits such as “You Are Everything,” “Betcha by Golly, Wow” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New,” The Stylistics have been captivating audiences for more than five decades. Known for smooth harmonies and romantic ballads, the group has sold more than 50 million records worldwide and earned 12 consecutive R&B top-10 hits during the 1970s.

“We’re thrilled to welcome back The Stylistics to Rivers Casino for what is sure to be an unforgettable evening of classic soul music,” said Andy Falkof, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “Their timeless hits have been beloved by generations of music fans, and we can’t wait to hear them perform in The Event Center.”

Original band members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell are now joined by Jason Sharp and Barrington “Bo” Henderson. The Stylistics have been inducted into both the Philadelphia Music Alliance Walk of Fame and Vocal Group Hall of Fame. The group’s music has remained popular over the years, and as a result, various artists have used samples of their songs or covered their music, including Prince, Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys.

The Stylistics’ appearance is part of the Rivers Casino upcoming entertainment lineup, which is scheduled as follows:
