Historic jackpot highlights a month of big wins, Best of Gaming Awards and live entertainment

PHILADELPHIA — Sept. 2, 2026 — A Rivers Casino Philadelphia player hit one of the largest jackpots in the casino’s history — nearly $700,000 — with a $5 bonus wager at the Royal 9 Baccarat progressive table game. The lucky guest from Philadelphia matched his personal King-Nine hand — king of hearts and nine of spades — with the bank’s hand to earn a $694,124.33 payout on Saturday, Aug. 29.

The progressive jackpot debuted in March 2024. Following the jackpot win, the progressive reset to $200,000 and continues to grow daily.

More Jackpots

The Mega Jackpot for the multi-link progressive shared by Ultimate Texas Hold ’em, Mississippi Stud and Three Card Poker is over $600,000 and growing daily. The jackpot was last hit in July for nearly $55,000.

Additionally, the recently launched High Card Flush Progressive jackpot has topped $275,000 and continues to increase daily.

16th B'Day Bash Drawings

Rivers Casino is celebrating its 16th birthday by giving guests a chance to win a share of $64,000 in Free Slot Play or Direct Bet throughout September, with $16,000 available each Saturday. Every hour from 5 to 8 p.m., eight Rush Rewards members will be selected to receive their choice of $500 in Free Slot Play or Direct Bet. Guests can earn entries by playing with their Rush Rewards card at eligible slot machines and table games throughout the month. A three-times entry multiplier will be applied to points earned on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
