Celtic rock band holds early St. Patrick’s Day concert on March 16 in The Event Center

PHILADELPHIA — Jan. 20, 2022 — One of the world’s leading Celtic rock bands, The Young Dubliners, will bring their folksy rock music to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Wednesday, March 16, at 8 p.m. Tickets for The Event Center show are on sale now and start at $25.

Known to some as The Young Dubs, the band is known for its Celtic rock fusion created by meshing the sounds of Irish traditional music with modern rock and roll. The Young Dubliners are known for its hit songs “Foggy Dew,” “Follow Me Up to Carlow” and “The Rocky Road to Dublin.”

“The Young Dubliners in concert the night before St. Patrick’s Day will make for an Irish celebration in The Event Center,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia.

The Young Dubliners formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1988, and have released nine albums since 1993. Rivers guests can expect music drawn from every album as well as new unreleased material.
