STUDIO 2022 NEW YEAR'S PARTY IS ALL WEEKEND LONG AT RIVERS CASINO PHILADELPHIA

PHILADELPHIA — Nov. 29, 2021 — New Year's Eve will be a multiday, off-the-hook celebration at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. Disco Queen Gloria Gaynor starts the '70s-themed Studio 2022 New Year's Party with a concert on Thursday, Dec. 30, and the groovy festivities continue through Sunday, Jan. 2, when guests can get funky and dance the night away to ABBA and Bee Gee tribute bands.

Along the way, guests can enjoy two fireworks shows, including a midnight toast from The Event Center balcony; a dinner special at Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House; a brand-new dance floor at Jack's Bar + Grill; a holiday sweepstakes drawing; and more.

"It'll be a five-day party at Rivers Casino this New Year's Eve," said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. "A champagne toast while watching fireworks over the Delaware River, plus Gloria Gaynor headlining our '70s time warp, will make for an unforgettable way to welcome 2022."

In addition to a weekend filled with surprises and delightful moments, guests can celebrate the new year on mini lighted dance floors throughout the casino. It'll be the most radical '70s celebration, complete with roller girls, hula hoops and celebrity impersonators, including John Travolta.

Gloria Gaynor — Thursday, Dec. 30, at 8 p.m.

As previously announced, two-time Grammy winner Gloria Gaynor will perform her chart-topping hit "I Will Survive" along with other hit songs in The Event Center on Thursday, Dec. 30, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $39 and are on sale now at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia.

The New Year's Eve Party in The Event Center — Friday, Dec. 31, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

This two-tier ticketed event is the ultimate party to celebrate 2022's arrival. Let's Groove Tonight — the Ultimate Earth, Wind & Fire Tribute Band — will perform in The Event Center, where guests will enjoy an open bar, fantastic food stations, a champagne toast and more. These amenities are $99, while a $149 ticket will get guests exclusive access to the balcony for perfect views of the midnight fireworks show. Jack's Bar + Grill Live Music — Thursday to Saturday, Dec. 30-Jan. 1 at 9 p.m.

On New Year's Eve weekend, Jack's unveils a brand-new lounge that includes a stage and a spacious dance floor, plus extra seating for great stage views. Guests can move and groove late into the night to the following bands:

•  The Priceless Band — Thursday, Dec. 30.
• All SOULed Out — Friday, Dec. 31.
• Coast 2 Coast — Saturday, Jan. 1.

All weekend, Jack's will feature late-night food and drink specials.

Hugo's Frog Bar & Chop House Dinner Special — Thursday to Sunday, Dec. 30-Jan. 1  

Hugo's, the casino's high-end steakhouse, is serving up a New Year's Eve dinner-for-two special the entire weekend. The dinner will include three delicious courses, a champagne toast and dessert, all for $175. Tax and gratuity are not included. Live music will be featured from 7 to 11 p.m.

Rivers Casino New Year's Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront — Friday, Dec. 31, at 6 p.m. and midnight

Rivers is the official sponsor of Philadelphia's 6 p.m. and midnight fireworks shows. In partnership with Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, the spectacular display with a mesmerizing finale can be viewed along the Delaware River, with outstanding views from the casino and the Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest.

$20,000 New Year's Day Drawing — Saturday, Jan. 1, 7 to 9 p.m.

Guests can earn sweepstakes entries from Wednesday, Dec. 1, through Saturday, Jan. 1, at 5 p.m., and will have 10 chances to win $2,022 in cash. Guests can play their favorite slots and table games using their Rush Rewards Card to earn entries, and that includes two-time entries on Tuesdays in December and five-time entries on Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25. Winners will be drawn at 6 p.m.

Abbamania and Night Fever — Sunday, Jan. 2, at 6 p.m.

ABBA and Bee Gees tribute bands Abbamania Canada and Night Fever continue the '70s-themed party in The Event Center. Abbamania re-creates Swedish supergroup ABBA in concert by bringing to life the disco era with all the uplifting, dancing-inducing songs and colorful, fantastic costumes. Meanwhile, Night Fever, the world's largest Bees Gees tribute, will put on a performance that includes the hit songs "Stayin' Alive," "Night Fever," "Jive Talking" and more. Starting at $30, tickets are on sale now at the casino's website.
