It didn’t take long for them to come to an agreement and Gilberto Taveras-Garcia will take home $31,000 along with the trophy and the cruise package.
Vincent Leone will earn $30,476 for his runner-up Capital Region Classic finish.
With his win here tonight Taveras-Garcia also accomplished another poker milestone moving to number one on the Rivers Schenectady all-time money list.
