Joe Murphy moved his last 140,000 chips into the middle and was given isolation by RJ Martinez who shoved all in over the top. Joe turned over 77 and his opponent turned over Q♠J♠, to which Joe stated, “I feel like I can’t win.”
The first card in the window was a 7 to give Joe a set, and while he did have to fade some straight draw outs on the turn and river, he got the double up and now sits with about an average stack.
Down to 43 as the bustouts continue. We are only a few minutes away from our last break before dinner. After we break in 10 minutes we will play three more levels and then go on our 60-minute dinner break.
