RIVERS CASINO PORTSMOUTH PROMOTES  JENNIFER DAVENA TO ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Nov. 7, 2025 — Rush Street Gaming announced today that Jennifer Davena has been promoted to Assistant General Manager of Rivers Casino Portsmouth. 

Davena brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across casino operations, strategic planning, and team development. As part of the opening team for Rivers Casino Portsmouth, she previously served in several executive roles, including Director of Table Games, Director of Gaming, Vice President of Gaming, and Interim General Manager.

“Jennifer played an integral role in helping to establish Virginia’s first permanent casino, and we’re grateful for her numerous contributions,” said Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rush Street Gaming and Rivers Casino Portsmouth. “We’re especially proud of the many internal promotions at our Virginia property, such as this one, and look forward to the continued success of our entire Portsmouth team.” 

Before joining Rivers Casino Portsmouth in 2022, Davena held several management roles at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning, Calif., where she launched her gaming career in 2003 as a slot attendant and table games dealer. 

Earlier this fall, Antonio Perez was named General Manager of Rivers Casino Portsmouth. Among myriad upcoming and exciting initiatives, Perez and Davena will spearhead the launch of The Landing Hotel Portsmouth, which is currently under construction and expected to open in early 2027.
