PORTSMOUTH, Va.— Feb. 2, 2024 – Rivers Casino Portsmouth is rolling out an impressive calendar packed with live music, gaming promotions, and the much anticipated Big Game Watch Party. Plus, Cupid’s arrow will strike the casino on Feb. 14 with a special Valentine’s Day menu at Admiral’s Steak & Seafood. 

BetRivers Sportsbook – Watch and Wager

BetRivers Sportsbook is the ideal place to watch and wager on all your favorite sports like football, basketball, hockey, MMA, racing, and more. In addition to daily game broadcasts, guests will enjoy the following events:

• The Scott Jackson Big Game Tailgate Tour – Leading up to Sunday’s Big Game, ESPN 94.1 takes the show on the road. On Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., “The Scott Jackson Show” and the ESPN team will broadcast live from BetRivers Sportsbook.

The Event Center – Entertainment and Special Events 

Lunar New Year Concert – Celebrate Lunar New Year with a FREE, fun-filled night of live music, with performances from The Ocean Band, Quÿnh Vi, Bäng Kiêu, Minh Tuyêt, Nhu Quynh, Truòna Vü and MC Ngoc Hân. Seating is first-come, first-served at The Event Center – Saturday, Feb. 24, at 9 p.m. Guests must be 21+ to enter.

ABC-TV’s Shark Tank – First Casting Call in Virginia! – Rivers Casino, in collaboration with 13 News Now, will host the first-ever Portsmouth open call for the four-time Emmy Award-winning ABC-TV series “Shark Tank.” The Casting Team will be at The Event Center at Rivers Casino Portsmouth starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12. Contestants will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas as part of Season 16’s nationwide search to discover the next batch of entrepreneurs, inventors, creators, and innovators who dream of facing the Sharks. • Valentine’s Day Dinner – Admiral’s Steak & Seafood will be open for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended at OpenTable.com. 
• Jazz Nights at Admiral’s – Thursdays never sounded so good! Jazz Night at Admiral's Steak & Seafood features smooth jazz, craft cocktails, 15% off on select appetizers, delicious sushi, and more –– every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Late Night Noodle Bar – Guests can now enjoy a late-night snack on the gaming floor! Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Mian will feature a Late Night Noodle Bar with delicious favorites including vegetable lo mein, chicken ramen, smoked prime rib pho, and more. 

New Hours: Mian is now open Thursday and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 

5 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Slice Pizzeria

• Late Night 11 Menu – Slice is adding a few new grab-and-go menu items for late-night diners. In addition to fresh pizza and salads, guests can now enjoy mozzarella sticks, boneless wings, burgers, breakfast options, and more — Sunday through Thursday, 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. and Friday and Saturday, 4 a.m. to 11 a.m.

New Hours: Slice Pizzeria is now open Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.; Friday and Saturday, open 24 hours.

“Rivers Gives” in Hampton Roads

In February, Rivers Casino Portsmouth will participate in the Coldest Night of the Year, hosted by Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless. As part of Rivers Gives, the casino’s community engagement initiative, Team Members will walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hunger and homelessness. 

Rivers Casino will also support and contribute to several nonprofits in the region, including the Portsmouth Chapter of the NAACP — the casino's February charity partner.  Casino guests will have an opportunity to join this philanthropic effort by donating chips, vouchers, and cash.
