*NSYNC'S CHRIS KIRKPATRICK TO HOST POP 2000 TOUR 

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — March 11, 2024 – Say “Bye Bye Bye” to any other plans and take a trip down memory lane at Rivers Casino Portsmouth as Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC hosts the POP 2000 Tour. On June 21 at 8 p.m., The Event Center will be filled with some of the greatest hits of the early 2000s — featuring performances by pop sensations O-Town, BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera, and LFO. Tickets start at $19 and will go on sale this Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m. 

About the POP 2000 Tour Artists

• Chris Kirkpatrick is an American singer, dancer, actor, and voice actor who is best known for his work as a founding member of the pop group *NSYNC. As a voice actor, he has worked on numerous kids’ shows including voicing the character of Chip Skylark on “The Fairly Oddparents.” In 2022, he competed in Season 3 of “Celebrity Big Brother” and “The Masked Singer.” 
• O-Town’s story began in 1999 when “Making the Band” chronicled the rise to success of the group throughout three seasons of the series on both ABC and MTV. O-Town’s first two full-length albums included #1 singles, “Liquid Dreams” and “All or Nothing” and the Top 40 hit “We Fit Together”. 
• BBMAK (Mark Barry, Christian Burbs, and Stephen McNally) is a multi-platinum-selling English pop group formed in 1997. Back after a 15-year hiatus, the group is best known for their self-penned infectious guitar-driven hits “Back Here”, “Out of My Heart,” and “The Ghost of You and Me.” BBMAK sold more than three million albums and hit singles worldwide before disbanding in 2003. Billboard recently named “Back Here,” the ninth greatest boy band song of all time.
• LFO burst onto the scene in 1999 with the #1 smash hit “Summer Girls” and followed with another top-five hit in “Girl on TV,” and the top-ten hit, “Every Other Time.” Today, lone surviving member Brad Fischetti keeps the name of LFO alive, performing the songs to fans, new and old. 
• Ryan Cabrera is the singer and songwriter behind ubiquitous smashes such as “On the Way Down,” “True” and “Shine On” as well as albums including 2004’s Take It All Away, which hit number eight on the Billboard Top 200. Ryan was also prominently featured on MTV’s “Ashlee Simpson Show” and “The Hills.”

ABC-TV’s Shark Tank – Rivers Casino, in collaboration with 13 News Now, will host the first-ever Portsmouth open call for the four-time Emmy Award-winning ABC-TV series “Shark Tank” at The Event Center — Friday, April 12, starting at 9 a.m. Contestants will have an opportunity to pitch their ideas to the Casting Team as part of Season 16’s nationwide search to discover the next batch of entrepreneurs, inventors, creators, and innovators who dream of facing the Sharks. Anjelah Johnson-Reyes – One of today's most successful stand-up comedians will fill The Event Center with laughter and amusement on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $39. Guests must be 21+.
