UBF Lightweight Champion Hutchinson vs. Abreu; Full Action-Packed Line Up

PITTSBURGH — July 25, 2017 — Professional boxing returns to Rivers Casino on Saturday, August 12 for “Rivers Rumble VII” presented by Rivers Casino in association with Made Men Promotions. Another exciting night is in store at the award-winning casino’s picturesque amphitheater. The venue opens for the event at 5 p.m. and the first bell rings at 7 p.m.

Newly crowned UBF Lightweight Champion Bill “Hutch” Hutchinson (13W-2L, 6KO) makes his highly touted return to the ring after capturing the title in a back-and-forth battle victory over Robbie Cannon in front of his hometown Pittsburgh fans at Rivers Rumble VI. First up to challenge the champion is Dominican Republic star Victor Abreau (10W-1L, 6KO). Abreu comes into the bout with six consecutive victories to secure his shot at Hutchinson.

Other matchups include undefeated Heavyweight Fred Latham (9W-0L, 5KO), of Pittsburgh, who will make his long awaited Steel City Debut vs. New Jersey southpaw, Daniel Pasicolla (9W-2L) in a battle of heavyweight goliaths. Pittsburgh’s own rising undefeated lightweight contender, Matt “Sweet Child” Conway (9W-0L, 4KO), will battle Osnel “Prince” Charles of Atlantic City, NJ.

The Rivers Rumble VII card will also feature Pittsburgh’s Mark Daley (2W-0L-1D, 1KO) taking on Detroit’s Raphael Sinegal (2W-1L, 1KO). Two other highly anticipated professional debuts include Pittsburgh’s Kel Smith, who will face Kevin Shacks, and Ellwood City’s Rosalindo Morales who will compete against Adam Young. Beaver Falls native and USA Boxing #2 ranked amateur, Kiante Irving, will appear in a special attraction bout and more.
