Rivers Casino To Host "March Mania" Viewing Parties

Enjoy FREE admission or reserved seating at the ’Burgh’s hottest b-ball event

PITTSBURGH — Feb. 21, 2019 — The best time of year for college basketball fans is right around the bend. And Rivers wants to ensure that the ’Burgh’s biggest basketball fans have a courtside seat for “March Mania” at the new Rivers Sportsbook and the new Event Center.

For opening weekend of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh will host both FREE and reserved-seating viewing parties. From Thursday, March 21, through Sunday, March 24, Rivers’ guests can watch all first-round basketball games starting at noon through the last game of the day. 

To catch all the excitement, the best seats in the house are on the North Shore—TVs all over Rivers Casino will be tuned in. Guests will have the option to watch for FREE or to book a premium spot with a paid reservation. 

Sportsbook Seating: Guests interested in purchasing a reserved seat for Rivers Sportsbook will have the option of individual club chairs or tables of four. Single-seats will cost $75 each and include a $25 food and beverage gift card. Tables of four will cost $200 per table and include a $100 food and beverage gift card. 

The Event Center Seating: General admission to The Event Center is FREE. Groups interested in purchasing reserved seating can reserve a table of 10 for $350. Pricing includes a $100 food and beverage gift card per table.

Guests will have the option to wager both at Rivers Sportsbook and in The Event Center. Hundreds of betting options are available for the NCAA tournament, including in-game betting and prop bets.

All individual and group reservations are single-day only. There will be a dedicated food and beverage menu including stadium nachos, cheesesteaks, grilled kielbasa sandwiches and more for The Event Center. Guests attending the Sportsbook event will have the option to order from a dedicated menu. All games will be shown in both locations and walk-ins will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis, pending availability.  Guests must be at least 21 years old to attend “March Mania.” No one under 21 is permitted on Rivers Casino’s gaming floor.
