‘Saturday Night Live’ Alum Jim Breuer Brings His Comedy Act to Fishtown

Freedom of Laughter Tour will come to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Dec. 22

PHILADELPHIA — Sept. 11, 2023 — Get ready for a night filled with laughter and nonstop fun when comedian Jim Breuer comes to Fishtown this holiday season. The “Saturday Night Live” alum brings his Freedom of Laughter Tour to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Friday, Dec. 22, at 8 p.m. Tickets for The Event Center show start at $39 and will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m.

Breuer was an SNL cast member from 1995 to 1998 and is best known for playing the recurring character Goat Boy on the sketch comedy series. In addition to performing alongside Will Ferrell, David Spade and Norm McDonald, Breuer starred in the film “Half Baked” alongside Dave Chappelle.

“Jim Breuer’s comedy tour has been all over the country, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to Fishtown,” said Eric Althaus, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “His loyal fans have seen him many times over the years, and we can’t wait to hear his latest material.”

After his time on SNL, Breuer became a father, which is now reflected in his stand-up material. His comedy also includes unfiltered and hilarious anecdotes and insights on topics such as aliens, climate change and more.

Breuer’s unpredictable career includes the “Breuniverse Podcast” and multiple appearances on Sirius XM’s “The Howard Stern Show,” and he’s sung alongside Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.
