Philly Comedians Eleanor Kerrigan And Jimmy Shubert Bring Stand-Up Show To Rivers Casino Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA — Aug. 31, 2021 — Rivers Casino Philadelphia’s Comedy Series continues when Philly natives Eleanor Kerrigan and Jimmy Shubert bring their captivating stand-up performances to The Event Center on Thursday, Oct. 21, starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $20 and can be purchased at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia or at NightOut.com.
Kerrigan’s amusing take on life from her unique experiences growing up street-savvy in South Philly and Shubert’s hilarious point of view on world issues will make for an engaging comedy show on Delaware Ave. Kerrigan and Schubert’s performances are part of the casino’s entertaining and ongoing comedy lineup.

Eleanor Kerrigan, who most notably got her start in comedy at the world-famous The Comedy Store telling entertaining stories of her upbringing, has been an actor and comedian for over two decades. Kerrigan’s innate comedic talents have landed her countless appearances on Nickelodeon, VH1, Howard Stern, HBO, and even in series like “Bill Burr Presents: The Ringers,” “Dice” and “Entourage.” From being one of 10 children in an Irish-Catholic family to living in Los Angeles, Kerrigan’s telling of her uproarious life experiences has crowds all over the country laughing out loud.
Jimmy Shubert
With three impressive comedy albums, “Animal Instincts,” “Pandemonium” and “Alive and Kickin’,” Jimmy Shubert is not only a successful comedian, but also has a longstanding acting career with features in “King of Queens,” “2 Broke Girls,” “Reno 911,” “Coyote Ugly,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and many more. Shubert’s career began as a professional magician when he was just 15 years old and he later channeled that energy into being a stand-up comedian when he got his start at The Comedy Store. Shubert’s latest comedy special, “Zero Tolerance,” showcases his hilarious sense of humor and perspective. Shubert’s entertaining stand-up performances have been seen by thousands of people around the globe.
