PHILADELPHIA — June 6, 2023 — Rivers Casino Philadelphia is celebrating the Independence Day weekend with a bang at its Party on the Pier on July 2, from 6 to 10 p.m. Guests will enjoy outdoor music by The Ultimate King of Pop, a Michael Jackson tribute band, along with Philly food-truck favorites and a Fishtown fireworks show starting at 9 p.m.

This free, pet-friendly party, brought to you by Pepsi, will also feature games and activities for all ages, free swag, and more, right on the riverfront, for an epic evening of fun for the whole family.

Party on the Pier with live music, games and more

With both a live tribute band and a DJ rocking the outside stage, there’s entertainment for everyone to enjoy:

• 6 p.m.: DJ Doc B from WDAS starts the party   
• 7:30 p.m.: The Ultimate King of Pop, a Michael Jackson tribute performance
• 9 p.m.: A dazzling fireworks display over the Delaware River

The Ultimate King of Pop — Michael Jackson Tribute Band

The Ultimate King of Pop is a high-energy, mystifying musical celebration of one of the most influential artists of all time, Michael Jackson, the widely beloved King of Pop.

Party on the Pier attendees will enjoy the band’s incredible precision and energy during its thrilling medley of Jackson’s chart-topping hits, including “Thriller,” “Billy Jean” and “Beat It.” The Ultimate King of Pop is led by Bobby Miller, who embodies and exudes the King of Pop both on and off the stage, and who has performed all around the world, including at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Fireworks finale following food trucks and fun

Pick a perfect spot by the water and end the night with amazing views of a stunning fireworks display under the stars and over the Delaware River, beginning at 9 p.m.

Before the night’s grand finale, guests can enjoy games and activities, including cornhole; giant games of Pong, Connect 4 and Jenga; face painting; and a balloon artist. Philly’s top food-truck favorites will serve up delicious local dishes.
