PHILADELPHIA — Aug. 1, 2022 — Summer isn’t over yet, and neither is the fun at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. Celebrate August with performances by Grammy Award winners Jonathon Butler and Gerald Albright and Gloria Gaynor in The Event Center. Guests can also test their luck in gaming promotions offering up to $50,000 in winnings and enjoy food and drink specials. These highlights and more are available all month long at Rivers Casino.

Jonathan Butler and Gerald Albright — Saturday, Aug. 20, at 8 p.m.

Singer-songwriter and guitarist Jonathan Butler and jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright are coming to Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Saturday, Aug. 20. This Grammy-nominated duo will come together on stage to transcend guests with their diverse sounds, including contemporary R&B, jazz and gospel. Tickets are on sale now starting at $29.

Legs N’ Eggs Drag Brunch — Sunday, Aug. 28, at 1 p.m.

From the creators of Aunt Mary Pat, SoulJoel Productions presents Legs N’ Eggs, hosted by Miss Troy. Through the artists’ multiple costume changes, guests will enjoy performances by look-alike Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and more.

The breakfast menu features bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys, eggs, sausage, French toast, potatoes, juices, and coffee and tea. Guests will enjoy cabaret-style seating at their own dedicated tables. This recurring event is on the fourth Sunday of every month. Tickets are on sale now for $45.

Gloria Gaynor — Friday, Aug. 26, at 8 p.m.

Gloria Gaynor is best known for her 1978 chart-topping hit, “I Will Survive,” which was her first Grammy Award — the first, and only, Grammy ever awarded for Best Disco Recording. Her legendary career spans the past 50 years and includes hit songs in each of the past five decades. Most recently, Gaynor took home a Grammy in January 2020 for her new album, “Testimony,” exactly 40 years after receiving her first Grammy. Tickets are on sale now starting at $39.

The Lords of 52nd Street — Friday, Aug. 26, at 9:30 p.m.

The band that helped create some of Billy Joel’s hit records, The Lords of 52nd Street, is coming to Rivers Casino Philadelphia for a free show. The band will rock the Jack’s Bar + Grill stage on Aug. 26 at 9:30 p.m.

Jack’s Bar + Grill Live Music

Guests can move and groove to live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays in August from 8 p.m. to midnight. Guests can also enjoy Young at Heart ’60s & ’70s on select Wednesdays in August from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sing Like a Star Live Band Karaoke every Thursday in August from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

$4 Million Sweet Luck Truck — All Rush Rewards members can earn entries on slots and tables from Monday, Aug. 1, at 6 a.m. to Saturday, Aug. 27, at 9:45 p.m. To be eligible for prizes, guests must activate their entries on Aug. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Five winners will be selected at both 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. to play the match game for their chance to win up to $50,000.

August Jackpot Sweepstakes — Every day in August, any Rush Rewards member who hits a jackpot valued at $1,200 or higher will earn one entry in the August Jackpot Sweepstakes. On Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., five winners in each drawing will be randomly selected to win $1,000 in cash.

Asian Table Game Hot Seat — All Rush Rewards members who play at selected Asian table games with their Rush Rewards card between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Mondays in August will be eligible to win $500.

Young at Heart — On Wednesdays in August, all Rush Rewards members ages 50 and older can swipe at a Rush Rewards kiosk and win free swag or Free Play.

Young at Heart: Jack’s Bar + Grill — Young at heart members ages 50 and older will receive unlimited soup and salad for $9.99 at Jack’s Bar + Grill on Wednesdays in August.

VIP GM Wheel Drawing — At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, and Wednesday, Aug. 24, five guests will be randomly selected from the raffle drum to spin the prize wheel and win up to $5,000 in cash.

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — At Rita’s first casino location, guests can buy one quart of Italian ice and get one quart free in August. Guests can enjoy “Ice Custard Happiness” at Rivers Casino daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Mian — Mian is featuring a beef short rib meal with black pepper sauce for $30 in August. Cash and credit cards will be accepted for payment. Mian is open Monday through Thursday from noon to midnight and Friday through Sunday from noon to 2 a.m.

Jack’s Bar + Grill — From Monday, Aug. 1, through Thursday, Aug. 25, Jack’s opens at 4 p.m., except for Wednesdays, when the restaurant opens at noon for the Young at Heart seniors’ special. Beginning on Friday, Aug. 26, Jack’s will open daily at noon. Throughout August, the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with the bar staying open until 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight.
