Rita’s And Rivers Casino Philadelphia Celebrate First Day Of Spring Together

RITA’S AND RIVERS CASINO PHILADELPHIA CELEBRATE FIRST DAY OF SPRING TOGETHER

The first Rita’s casino shop debuts on Delaware Avenue on March 20 from noon to 9 p.m.

 PHILADELPHIA — March 18, 2022 — Slots, frozen custard and the first day of spring will come together at Rivers Casino Philadelphia when Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard opens its first casino shop on March 20. Rita’s is located inside the casino’s North Entrance next to Geno’s Steaks and will be open year-round, seven days a week, from noon to 9 p.m.

 Rita’s opening will be unveiled during the casino’s on-going St. Patrick's Day Weekend Celebration. Guests stopping by on March 20 will get to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rita's First Day of Spring promotion with a twist on its famous free Italian Ice giveaway. To participate, casino guests must download the Rita's new mobile app by March 20 to receive their First Day of Spring Ice offer. All app users will receive one free First Day of Spring Ice offer within their app account on March 20 that can be used one time over the period of a week, between March 20 – 27.

 “Opening on the first day of spring and celebrating Rita’s fantastic promotion is the perfect way to bring together two of Philadelphia’s most recognizable brands,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “Rita’s Italian Ice is the cherry on top of our St. Patrick’s Day weekend-long celebration.”

As its first casino location, Rita’s joins Geno’s Steaks as another iconic Philly brand inside Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The casino’s growing food lineup also includes Jack’s Bar + Grill, which recently debuted the Jack’s stage and dance floor, and Mian, which features authentic Asian cuisine.

Those that may not be familiar with the brand will come to love Rita's refreshing Italian Ice, Gelatis, Concretes, Milkshakes and creamy Frozen Custard. Rita's signature Italian Ice is made fresh daily and available in a rotating daily selection from over 90 flavors.

BetRivers Sportsbook — All weekend

NCAA jersey drawings

The BetRivers Sportsbook will feature college basketball jersey drawings during the NCAA men’s basketball tournament. Guests who place wagers of $50 or more on college basketball will be entered into drawings to win old-school NCAA jerseys. Philadelphia 76ers fans will have their eyes on James Harden’s Arizona State jersey, which will be highlighted on Friday, March 18.

Rush Reward members can earn entries to the Pot O’ Gold drawings by playing their favorite slots and table games in March. On Fridays and Saturdays in March, guests who activate their entries at any Rush Rewards kiosk beginning at 6:30 p.m. will be entered into random drawings at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Five winners will be selected at each drawing for prizes ranging from $400 to $250,000 in cash.
