Fireworks on Sunday, July 3, at 9 p.m., plus live outdoor music from Elton John’s leading tribute band, family-friendly games, food trucks and more

PHILADELPHIA — June 10, 2022 — Rivers Casino Philadelphia is having a Party on the Pier to celebrate the Fourth of July on Sunday, July 3, starting at 6 p.m. The event will feature live outdoor music by Elton Rohn: North America’s Premier Elton John Tribute Show, along with food, fun and fireworks, which will end the night at 9 p.m.

This free, kid-friendly event will also include games, face painting, balloon artists and plenty of free parking.

“We’re thrilled to be hosting another Party on the Pier in celebration of Independence Day,” said Justin Moore, general manager at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “This family-friendly party has everything from music to treats and spectacular fireworks to close out a terrific event.”

Party on the Pier with live music and more

With both a live tribute band and a DJ outside rocking the outside stage, there’s entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

• 6 p.m.: Legendary Philly radio and club DJ Gary O will warm up the crowd before the live music performance.
• 7:30 p.m.: Elton Rohn: North America’s Premier Elton John Tribute Show will continue the fun.
• 9 p.m.: Fireworks will end the evening.

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Elton Rohn is stopping by Philly to Party on the Pier. The group has headlined over 350 theatres and festival shows in North America, from Las Vegas to Atlantic City. After meeting the band, Elton’s long-time guitarist and musical director told them they were the best ’70s Elton John tribute in the world. Audiences are astounded at how close the resemblance is. Ron Camilleri, as Elton, provides the vocals, look and feel of a true Elton John performance. This show is a must-see; with its passion, energy and melodic harmonies, the band is the closest you’ll get to being back in the ’70s with Elton.

Fireworks viewing, plus food trucks and fun

Enjoy waterfront views of an incredible fireworks display above the Delaware River beginning at 9 p.m. Guests can grab a spot along the riverwalk and enjoy the colorful night sky.

Throughout the day, in addition to a live music performance, guests can enjoy a variety of fun family games and activities such as corn hole, giant games of pong, Connect 4, and Jenga, face painting and a balloon artist.
