Enjoy fall at Philly’s first casino with live music, standup comedy, football promos and more

PHILADELPHIA — Oct. 3, 2022 — Fall fun and promotions are in full swing at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. Celebrate October with an Event Center standup show from Emmy award-winning actor and comedian Jeremy Piven. Guests can also enjoy various gaming promotions and game-day food and drink specials with pro football season heating up. These highlights and more are available all month long at Rivers Casino.

Events and Entertainment

Jeremy Piven — Saturday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m.

Jeremy Piven, who is a two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award winner known for playing Ari Gold in the HBO series “Entourage,” is coming to Rivers Casino. Piven is touring the country with his successful standup comedy show, flexing a comedic muscle that few actors have been able to transition over to. Tickets are on sale now and start at $29.

Legs N’ Eggs Drag Brunch — Sunday, Oct. 23, at 1 p.m.

From the creators of Aunt Mary Pat, SoulJoel Productions presents Legs N’ Eggs, hosted by Miss Troy. Through the artists’ multiple costume changes, guests will enjoy performances by look-alikes for Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and more.

The breakfast menu features bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, eggs, sausage, French toast, potatoes, juices, and coffee and tea. Guests will enjoy cabaret-style seating at their own dedicated tables. This recurring event is on the fourth Sunday of every month. Tickets are on sale now for $45.

Jack’s Bar + Grill Live Music

Guests can move and groove to live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays in October from 8 p.m. to midnight. Guests can also enjoy Young at Heart ’60s & ’70s on select Wednesdays in September from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sing Like a Star Live Band Karaoke every Thursday in September from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

$313K Haunted Hot Seat Blowout — All Rush Reward card holders who are actively playing at any table game or slot machine will be eligible for the Haunted Hot Seat Blowout on Saturdays in October. From 7:13 p.m. to 10:13 p.m., 12 winners who are actively gaming will be randomly selected every hour to win $213 of Free Play. A 13th winner will also be chosen to come onstage and have 30 seconds in the haunted money machine where they can catch a share of over $13,000 in cash.

October Jackpot Sweepstakes — Every day in October, any Rush Rewards member who hits a jackpot valued at $1,200 or higher will earn one entry into the October Jackpot Sweepstakes. On Monday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., five winners in each drawing will be randomly selected to win $1,000 in cash.

Asian Table Game Hot Seat — On Mondays in October, all Rush Rewards card holders who are actively playing at selected Asian table games will be eligible to be selected as part of the Asian Gaming Hot Seat. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., one winner who is actively gaming will be randomly selected every 30 minutes to win $500 in cash.

Young at Heart — On Wednesdays in October from noon to 8:00 p.m., all Rush Rewards Members ages 50 and older can swipe their player’s card at a Rush Rewards kiosk to win free swag or Free Play.

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — At Rita’s first casino location, guests can buy one quart of Italian ice and get one quart free in October. Guests can enjoy “Ice Custard Happiness” at Rivers Casino Sunday to Thursday from noon to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.

Mian — Guests celebrating an October birthday can receive 20% off their entrée and rice or noodles on Monday through Thursday during its regular noon to midnight hours. Mian is open Friday through Sunday from noon to 2 a.m.

Jack’s Bar + Grill — Jack’s opens daily at noon throughout October; the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with the bar staying open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight.

BetRivers Sportsbook

The BetRivers Sportsbook is the place to watch and wager on all the October sports action. Guests can play Home Field Advantage: Spin to Win when the Birds have home games this month:

• Sunday, Oct. 16, at 8:20 p.m. vs. Dallas
• Sunday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. vs. Pittsburgh

Sports bettors who place qualifying game-day bets can enter the contest for a chance to win Free Play, cash and two tickets to a Birds home game.

Also, guests can have Jack’s Bar + Grill menu items delivered right to their seat. $200 Instant High Hands — Every Wednesday in October from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., guests can win $200 with a qualifying high hand. The minimum qualifying hand is four of a kind; players must use both hole cards and must have the best hand. At least four players must be dealt into the hand, and the pot must meet the minimum threshold for a high-hand jackpot contribution.
