PHILADELPHIA — Jan. 3, 2023 — Start the new year at Philly’s first casino this January with live music performances from En Vogue in the Event Center as well as on the Jack’s Bar + Grill stage every Friday and Saturday. From the casino floor to dining deals, plus sportsbook promotions and gaming specials, there’s something for everyone to celebrate the start of 2023.   

Gaming

Rivers recently unveiled five new electronic table games for guests to enjoy at individual gaming stations. Multiple forms of roulette and blackjack, along with dice games, are available at 25 stand-alone units located near the casino’s main entrance.

Electronic versions of classic table games are perfect for beginners and advanced players looking for a new way to play. Decisions can be made at each player’s own comfort level. These wildly popular games are products of the industry-leading Interblock Gaming.

En Vogue — Saturday, Jan. 14, at 8 p.m.

Legendary R&B group En Vogue will continue to soar to new heights when members Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron and Rhona Bennett perform at Rivers Casino Philadelphia this January. For 30 years and counting, the group has achieved top success on nothing but pure talent. They’ve sold over 20 million albums and have transitioned into the digital age, garnering over 30 million streams and 26 million-plus YouTube views. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $99.  

Jack’s Bar + Grill Live Music

Guests can move and groove to live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays in January from 8 p.m. to midnight. Young at Heart ’60s and ’70s entertainment takes the stage on Wednesday, Jan. 25, when the Sensational Soul Cruisers perform from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and guests will enjoy Sing Like a Star Live Band Karaoke on Thursdays in January from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Promotions, Contests and Sweepstakes

$150,000 Lunar New Year Hot Seat – On Fridays and Saturdays in January, all Rush Rewards members, who have an open active rating with their Rush Rewards card at a table game or slot machine, will be eligible for the Lunar New Year Hotseat drawings. At 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., five winners will be selected for their chance to win a prize ranging from $500 and $100,000 in cash.

January Jackpot Sweepstakes — Every day in January, any Rush Rewards member who hits a jackpot valued at $1,200 or higher will earn one entry into the January Jackpot Sweepstakes. On Tuesday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., five winners in each drawing will be randomly selected to receive $1,000 in cash.

Table Games Play to Eat — On Mondays in January, all Rush Rewards members who play a table game with their Rush Rewards card can earn a $20 dining credit. To qualify, Rush Reward members must play with their Rush Rewards card and earn 300 tier points on any table game.

Rivers Roulette on Instagram — Every Wednesday, a roulette wheel will be posted on Rivers Casino Philadelphia’s official Instagram page @RiversCasinoPhiladelphia. In the comments section, participants can guess the winning number from the roulette wheel spin. On Thursday at noon, the winning Rivers Roulette number will be posted, and the potential winner will be notified on how to claim their prize of $50 Free Slot Play. Winner’s eligibility includes one guess per participant in the comment section, must be following @RiversCasinoPhiladelphia Instagram page, must “like” the roulette wheel post, must be 21 years of age or older, and must sign up for or be a current member of Rush Rewards.

Young at Heart — On Wednesdays in January from noon to 8 p.m., all Rush Rewards members aged 50 and older can swipe their player’s card at a Rush Rewards kiosk to win free swag or Free Play.

Young at Heart: Jack’s Bar + Grill — Young at Heart members aged 50 and older will receive unlimited soup and salad for $9.99 at Jack’s Bar + Grill on Wednesdays in January.

Dining and Drink Offerings

Mian — Guests can enjoy a Vietnamese beef meal of wok-seared beef filet cubes, onions, peppers, black peppers and butter served with steamed white rice for $33, seven days a week during January. Mian is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to midnight and Friday and Saturday from noon to 2 a.m.

Jack’s Bar + Grill — Jack’s opens daily at 4 p.m. throughout January, except on Wednesdays, when the restaurant opens at noon for the Young at Heart promotion; the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with the bar staying open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Guests can enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight.

BetRivers Sportsbook

The BetRivers Sportsbook is the place to watch and wager on all the January sports action. Guests can play Home Field Advantage: Spin to Win for the Birds for two home games this month:

• Sunday, Jan. 8, vs. New York (NFC)

Sports bettors who place qualifying game day bets can enter the contest for a chance to win Free Play, cash and two tickets to a Birds home game.

Martorano’s Prime, featuring celebrity chef and South Philly native Steve Martorano, is opening at Rivers Casino Philadelphia in early 2023. Rivers Casino Philadelphia is now hiring a room manager, a room chef, a shift manager, a sommelier, a sous chef, cooks, bartenders, servers and more to join Philly’s soon-to-be hottest restaurant. The restaurant is currently offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for the following positions: room chef and room manager.

Additionally, Rivers Casino continues to host walk-in interviews for part-time and full-time positions every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
