Asian Tables Games Blog
Rivers Casino Philadelphia offers some of the most exciting Asian table games in Philadelphia. In this two-part blog series, we are going to share more about these table games and how to play them! In today’s blog we will be discussing EZ Baccarat, Midi Baccarat, and Luck6 Commission Free Baccarat.
EZ Baccarat
Philadelphia gaming is complete with EZ Baccarat, which eliminates taking a 5% commission on all winning Banker hands without modifying any of the existing drawing rules of the standard Mini Baccarat game. There are 2 optional side wagers called the Dragon 7 and the Panda 8. The Dragon 7 pays 40 to 1 when the Banker Hand has a point count of 7 with a total of three cards and the Player’s Hand has a point count less than 7. The Panda 8 pays 25 to 1 when the Player’s hand has a point count of 8 with a total of three cards and the Banker hand has a point count less than 8.
Midi Baccarat
NOW OFFERING UNLIMITED FREE HANDS TO ALL PLAYERS – take off caps Bet on your run, not the hand!
The object of the game of Midi Baccarat is to get a point count closest to 9 on whichever of two possible hands the player wagers. All cards count at face value. All tens and face cards or any combination of them have no value. For example: 9+5=4; Jack+1=1. There are three ways to wager; the Banker Hand, the Player Hand or the Tie. Winning Banker and Player hands pay 1 to 1 and a 5% commission is charged on all winning Banker wagers which is collected either prior to reshuffling the cards at the end of a shoe or when the customer leaves the game. After all customers have made their bets, the dealer draws four cards from the shoe. The first and third cards are the Player Hand and the second and fourth cards are the Banker Hand. If the point count total of either hand is 8 or 9 on the first two cards, the game is over and no more cards will be drawn. If not, the Player Hand will draw a third card if that hand totals 0 through 5. The value of the third card drawn will determine if the Banker Hand receives a third card. The Player Hand stands on 6 or 7 and the Banker Hand stands on 7, 8 or 9 or whenever the rules to the game dictate. No more than one additional card will be drawn to each hand. The hand closest to 9 wins. If both the Banker and Player Hand result in identical totals, neither one wins nor loses and any player who has wagered on the Tie wins at odds of 8 to 1.
Luck6 Commission Free Baccarat
We’re one of the Philadelphia Casinos that offers Commission Free Baccarat. Commission Free Baccarat is a baccarat game where no commission is taken out. This means that winning Banker wagers do not get charged 5% commission as with traditional baccarat games. Winning Player and Banker hands pay even money except when the Banker hand wins with a 6. When the Banker hand wins with a 6, the Banker wager pays 1 to 2. Players may bet the optional Lucky 6 wager. This bet pays when the Banker hand wins with a 6.
