Ultimate Texas Hold'em Blog
Today’s table game blog is all about Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Ultimate Texas Hold’em gives players the thrill of America’s most popular poker game–Texas Hold ‘Em–with the ease of a classic casino table game. In this game, players make an equal ante wager and blind wager and optionally a trips wager. All players and the dealer are then dealt two cards face down. Players then evaluate their cards and can either check (keep playing but don’t increase their wager) or raise either 3x or 4x their ante.
Once all the players have made their decisions, the dealer reveals the first three community cards, also known as the flop. If players previously checked, they have the option to either check again or raise 2x their ante. If players already raised, they make no further action at this point.
The dealer will then reveal two additional community cards, the turn and the river. At this point, if a player has previously checked twice they can either make a play bet equal to the ante or fold (forfeiting the ante and blind wagers). If players raised at any previous step they make no further action at this point.
At this point, the dealer will reveal their cards and then make the best possible hand using their cards with the five community cards. The dealer opens with a pair or higher. Ante, blind, and raise/play wagers are then paid based on the below pay table:
Winner Dealer Opens Blind Wager Ante Wager Raise/Play Wager
When a player wins, their blind bet is paid according to a pay table. A royal flush pays 500:1, straight flush pays 50:1, four of a kind pays 10:1, full house pays 3:1, flush pays 3:2, a straight pays 1:1, and any other winning hand gets a push on this wager.
The optional trips wager also pays based on a pay table, but this exciting side bet pays regardless of who wins the hand. This means even if the dealer’s hand out ranks the players, the player can still win some money!
