Just before the bubble burst, Rob Saladin called a pre-flop raise of one of the tournament chip leaders with A♣3♣. The flop came down 4♥10♠8♥, and his opponent bet 25,000. Rob raised to 115,000, and after thinking a long time, his opponent called.
The turn paired the board with a 10♥. The opening player checked, and Rob shoved all in for 250,000. His opponent took a second and then folded. Rob then looked over to the blogger and said, “Get this on camera!” and turned over his A3. He picked up a really nice pot and sits with double an average stack.
Since the bubble has burst, players have slowly been trickling there way up to the payout line. We are coming up on our first pay bump of the day, up to $804 for 54th place.
