RIVERS CASINO PORTSMOUTH TO HOST FREE FOURTH OF JULY OUTDOOR CONCERT

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — June 3, 2024 – Rivers Casino Portsmouth announces a free outdoor concert on Thursday, July 4, featuring the electrifying M80 cover band. The event, open to all ages, promises a celebratory evening of live entertainment from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. This non-ticketed event is open to the public, including guests under 21 — making it an ideal opportunity for friends and families to gather and celebrate Independence Day.

Known for high-energy performances and faithful renditions of 80s classics, M80 will transport concert-goers back in time with their dynamic setlist of chart-topping hits from iconic artists of the decade.

Formed in 2005, M80 is an award-winning pop/rock cover band personifying the best in professional live entertainment. Celebrating their 19th year as a band, M80 has performed over 2,000 shows across 13 U.S. states and six countries. As a member of Armed Forces Entertainment, M80 also performs on military tours for soldiers abroad. 

Rivers Casino’s outdoor performance stage will be located behind Admiral's Steak & Seafood, and the Admiral's patio will be open exclusively for VIP guests — offering a premium view and experience. Fourth of July reservations for Admiral’s are recommended as indoor and outdoor seating is limited.

In addition to M80's live performance, Rivers Casino Portsmouth will offer a variety of food and beverage options for purchase. Guests can enjoy local cuisine, grilled on-site, and summer cocktails from the outdoor bar. The chef's barbecue menu includes vegan and vegetarian options. Outside (BYO) food or beverages are not permitted. Entry and seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event of inclement weather, the free Fourth of July outdoor concert will be canceled.
