Top Flush is a table game played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The player begins by placing an Ante wager. Optionally, and if configured, the player may also place a Top Flush Bonus wager, a Straight Flush Jackpot wager, and/or a Progressive wager.
Each player is then dealt seven cards face-down, and the dealer also receives seven cards face-down. After reviewing their cards, the player must then either place a Play wager, or else fold and forfeit their Ante wager. The amount of the Play wager must be at least equal to (1x) the Ante wager but may be higher according to player hand.
If the player has at least six cards of the same suit, their Play wager may be as high as four times (4x) the Ante wager. If the player has at least 5 cards of the same suit, their Play wager may be as high as twice (2x) the Ante wager. After all players have made their Play/Fold decisions, all cards are revealed, all hands are evaluated as described below, and all wagers are then resolved.
EVALUATION OF HANDS
Each hand is evaluated according to the longest flush that can be made, with a 7-card flush being the highest type of hand possible. If two hands have the same length of flush, then the ranks in the flush are compared, beginning with the highest rank and going down, as in standard poker hand comparisons. (Note that cards outside of the flush do not contribute to hand evaluation, even in tie-breaking situations).
If a hand can make two different flushes of the same maximal length, e.g. two 3-card flushes, the higher-ranking flush will be used to determine the overall hand evaluation, and the lower-ranking flush will be ignored. If the dealer has at least a Nine-high 3-card flush, the dealer is said to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the Ante wager wins and pays 1 to 1, and the Play wager pushes, regardless of player hand.
If the dealer does qualify, the player and dealer hands are compared. If the player beats the dealer, the Ante and Play wagers both win and pay 1 to 1. If the player ties the dealer, both wagers push. If the player is beaten by the dealer, both wagers lose.
TOP FLUSH BONUS WAGER:
If the player has at least a 4-card flush, the Top Flush Bonus wager wins and pays according to player hand and according to configured paytable, as given below. Otherwise, the wager loses.
- 7-Card Flush 300 to 1
- 6-Card Flush 100 to 1
- 5-Card Flush 10 to 1
- 4-Card Flush 1 to 1
STRAIGHT FLUSH JACKPOT WAGER
The Straight Flush Jackpot wager is evaluated based on the longest Straight Flush the player can make. (Note that it does not need to coincide with the longest flush used for the main game. For example, a player may have a 4-card flush with no straight, but a 3-card straight flush in another suit).
If the player has at least a 3-card straight flush, the wager wins and pays according to hand and according to paytable, as given below. Otherwise, the wager loses.
- 7-Card Flush 8000 to 1
- 6-Card Flush 1000 to 1
- 5-Card Flush 100 to 1
- 4-Card Flush 60 to 1
- 3-Card Flush 7 to 1
