“The Lettermen” To Perform Greatest Hits At Rivers Casino
Tickets Available for Two Shows on Wednesday, September 23
PITTSBURGH — September 4, 2015 — Award-winning male pop music vocal trio “The Lettermen” will perform two shows at Rivers Casino on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Tickets are available for both the 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows.
The Lettermen first hit the music charts in 1961 with "The Way You Look Tonight." They followed that first hit with another chart topper, "When I Fall in Love,” and have remained in harmony for decades, performing thousands of shows worldwide. Other hits include “Up, Up and Away," "Hurt So Bad," "Shangri-La” and "Put Your Head On My Shoulder." Lead by founding member Tony Butala, originally from Sharon, Pa., the group also includes Bobby Poynton and Donovan Tea.
“The Lettermen have an extensive collection of hits that have spanned the decades,” said Craig Clark, general manager of Rivers Casino. “We’re excited to welcome Tony and the group back to Pittsburgh.”
