Take a Spin on Rivers’ 12-foot Tall Game

PITTSBURGH — July 7, 2014 — Rivers Casino is celebrating its First Five anniversary in a very big way. Now through Aug. 9, players will have the chance to win a large jackpot on Pittsburgh’s largest slot-like gaming machine.

Measuring in at 12 feet tall, this oversized take on a one-armed bandit gives Rush Rewards Players Club members the chance to be a part of Rivers’ $500K Anniversary Payout. Qualified players are able to hit a big red button to take a spin. When the symbols match on the pay line, players have the chance to win big bucks.

 Four Ways to Win

  • Daily: Players can earn 750 same-day base points every day to activate one spin on the game. You are guaranteed to win cash, Free Slot Play, prizes and more. The progressive grand prize increases $1 with every spin. Plus, you’ll earn entries into the Saturday and Sunday drawings.
  • Saturday Drawings: Win your share of $50,000 cash and Free Slot Play every Saturday. Each drawing, held at 12, 2, 4, 6 and 8 p.m., will give 10 players the chance to win.
  • Sunday Drawings: Fuel up for summer fun with the chance to win $100 in gas gift cards. At the 10 a.m. drawing, 100 winners will be selected to win.
  • Progressive Grand Prize: The final drawing will take place at 8 p.m. on Aug. 9, Rivers’ official fifth anniversary, with a top prize of at least $50,000 cash. Any money left over from the progressive, which starts at $5,000, will be added to this amount.

“Our First Five is a monumental occasion for the property, so we wanted to give players a larger-than-life game to celebrate,” said Bud Green, assistant general manager of Rivers Casino. “The daily spins and growing progressive prize will really keep the excitement going.”

 Five Weeks of Fun

The fun doesn’t stop after you’ve taken a spin on the big game. Rivers’ “Five Weeks of Fun” leading up to the anniversary on Aug. 9 are now in full swing. Highlights include walk-up slot tournaments on Wednesdays and Thursdays, dinner for $15.55 in Grand View Buffet, First Five commemorative giveaways and special entertainment.

Additional details on the Five Weeks of Fun are available on Rivers’ website at www.riverscasino.com.
