Rivers Casino Pittsburgh To Feature MMA And Boxing Events This Summer

PITTSBURGH — May 29, 2019 — World Fighting Championships (WFC) has partnered with Rivers Casino to bring live mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing events to downtown Pittsburgh.

WFC 109, which will be the first event of this partnership, will take place in The Event Center at Rivers Casino on Saturday, July 13. Doors are scheduled to open at 7 p.m., with the fights starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at the Rivers box office or online at wfcfights.com. Prices are $750 (table of 10), $100 (VIP), $60 (premium), and $30 (reserved).

“We are excited to bring the WFC to Rivers Casino and the great city of Pittsburgh,” WFC President Matt McGovern said. “People who attend our events will enjoy a great downtown venue and one of the top casinos in the Northeast. Pittsburgh has always been known as a city with a great tradition in MMA and boxing and we’re hoping to add to that tradition starting in July.”

The July event will include Dominic Mazzotta (New Kensington, PA) as part of the main event.
