TO HONOR VETS AND ACTIVE MILITARY FOR VETERANS DAY

PITTSBURGH — Nov. 7, 2022 — Veterans Day is just around the corner, and Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is honoring vets and active military with its new “Rivers Salutes” program—a commemorative initiative that will recognize guests and Team Members. “Rivers Salutes” acknowledges and expresses the casino’s deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to all veterans for their brave and selfless commitments to our country. 

“Whether you’re active military or have served in the past, we salute you and want to say thanks,” said Bud Green, general manager at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. “This is an initiative that’s extremely special to us, and we look forward to building upon this program in the years ahead.”

Guests

Beginning today through Friday, Nov. 11, veterans and active military who show their valid military or veterans ID will receive a $15 food voucher valid for 30 days. The offer is for dine-in only and is redeemable once per person.

Starting in November, we also invite all veterans and actively enlisted men and women to visit the Rush Rewards Players Club or Cashier to receive an exclusive “Rivers Salutes” card, which can be used for future discounts and offers. Upon receiving their cards, guests will also be presented with a Rivers Salutes t-shirt.

Community

Each month, Rivers Casino participates in an ongoing community service outreach program called “Rivers Gives.” One day per month, Team Members assist in a service project that benefits the Pittsburgh community. December’s volunteer service partner is the Southwestern PA Veterans’ Center.

Also in November, the monthly Rivers Gives gaming floor donation drive will benefit the Southwestern PA Veterans Center.
